Even though I missed the entire jakks era and it saddens me, I can live vicariously though you man!
I have always loved that Wal-Mart exclusive Hogan. I love the silver version of the '85 WWF Championship (one of my all-time favorite belt designs in wrestling history). I love his color scheme. As a piece of trivia, that color scheme is literally just him painted in Wal-Mart colors, reflecting the nature of his exclusivity. That's all. I wish the rabbit hole ran deeper than that. Sadly, it does not. But I always thought it was a nice touch, regardless.

Love the jakks hogans,I'm from the UK have 71 hogans in my collection,its taken years to collect started in 1990, but way harder to get here than in USA,still trying to get storm hulk rules figure ,A great video as always,im waiting for my survivors figure to arrive.

I was more of a Hollywood Hogan guy. The ToyBiz Smash N Slam Hollywood was the figure I played with a lot. My fig fed was my WWF Bone Crunchers vs my WCW ToyBiz guys. Anyway, here's my list. It's just Hogan figures that I have owned at one point or another.

The only Jakks classics I have are an 80s Bret Hart (tag team champ) which idk what series he is from and an Ultimate Warrior from series 16. I wish I had care back in the day b/c this Hogan is pretty cool. in 2006 I was in High school, so it was a lot of "I'm too cool to care about this...." Which is a shame b/c I wish I would have gotten more Jakks classics like these Hogans or Warriors or any of them.

I never got these, but I did want them. Something I noticed from the video, the glamour shots on the side of the Canadian ones are bigger, or at least set higher up on the packaging. A very cool video, as always.

I didnt hear about these until later but then I wasnt in NA at the time of these releases. Back then and even now I usually dont get multiple variations of wrestling figures. Unless its like Surfer Sting, Vader, Ultimate Warrior or Randy Savage. The Surfer Sting I think I have all of them since the Evolution of Sting 6 pk from Toy Biz and I have the 4 Vaders Jakks to Target Exclusive 1990 GAB version. But I did get that Hulk Still Rules set that I dont even remember when it came out. Had an 84 Hulk, nWo Hulk and 2002 Hulk. The blue trunked Hogan peaks my interest as it comes with the Silver WWF title belt.

Has there been a solution for the paint rub from soft goods for elites to your knowledge? Does that ever concern you when displaying with robes and shirts on?
Does not worry me as most that do it come that way. No real solution some people use some kind of cream but it sounds like a ton of work, applications etc

Ten years ago i could have gotten one off ebay for 10$....now, not a single one lose and the figure is 90$ at least.
