@tax1z12sky it sounds like the eject mech is stuck happened to me so I ordered a new drive from eBay and just stuck the same blue ray chasie in it fixed it for 30 bucks
i have the same problem happend about a year ago so i watch a couple vids and took it apart and cleaned the lenze. worked like brand new for about 4 months not 1 problem. but now i found my self cleaning it every week. now all i get is a loud noise when loading. the disc trys to spin but nothing! plays cd ,dvds some blu ray movies...but no games....HELP!!!
when i try to put in a disc in my ps3 it will not take it when i press the arrow to check if there is no discs in it doesnt make a double beep just like a little whirr and stops... sumone help

I did the same and it worked

mine does this to and I got a ps3 fat with 2 laser eyes if I replace laser should be good as New or what don't wanna just waste money?😐
