Brilliant design. Consistent precise SAE double lap inverted flares. Best thing- can do lines almost anywhere ON the VEHICLE 'cause you are not stuck to a VISE. Form your flares right next to the proportioning block, abs pump, master cylinder or where ever with ease! When paired with "Lifetime" AGS NiCopp- (nickel copper steel alloy tubing) bends & flares are so easy you will thank this tools patent owners & metalurgists who created a "NiCopp" alloy Volvo & Audi using since 70's. Great tool as i just received mine, it creates perfect flares and superior to the bar type tools i have used, nice simple design. Myself i still use a vise to hold the tool as i prefer it to be stationery while flaring, better feel and i use 7/8 wrench to hold the yoke-- -- easier than running to AZ to rent their tool Certainly cannot beat the price
I hope so as i just ordered one, yes it looks superior to the bar design, myself i would mount in a secure vise vs using vise grips, with my own or actually any vehicle i would just replace the entire line so i wouldn't have a need to doing it on a car but to each their own
I hear ya zxtenn but some lines can't be pre-bent/flared, even some factory supplied without cutting into sections to install. Some people don't want to pay for a long run of NiCopp. Even if they do say on Corolla bulkhead dist block to pass. wheel you are better off feeding a roll of NiCopp from front to rear following old, bending to fit by hand & cut & flare each end connection so you will never come up short. Nothing beats NiCopp for this and the in-line tool gets it done easily. JP-USA
Purchased this exact one because of the great online reviews. 3/16 steel Brake line slips out when attempting to first flare using the adapter. Without the adapter I can make a single flare. With the adapter I cannot make the first adapter, line just slips out. I really see no difference between this and the cheap POS double flaring tools out there, neither works properly for steel 3/16 brake lines. Line slips out.

Also purchased this same kit and complete garbage. Brake line slips right through the knurled portion of block! No way to Warranty.
