- In this Light Painting Tool Tutorial I show 4 different ways to add color to your Plexiglass Light Painting Brushes. Plexiglass Light Painting Brushes are some of the more versatile Light Painting Tools around. These light painting tools are great for creating abstract light painting images, light painting portraits, light painted wings and all the orbs you can stand to make before your arms finally give out. Adding color into and/or onto your plexiglass can make your images come alive. All the different tools and technique in this tutorial work great on their own, but the magic really happens when you combine some of these colorful techniques to create unique colors and textures in your light painting photography work. Below is a list of the light painting tools that I used in this tutorial with links to all of them. Enjoy.

Tape. Who woulda thought?! Such a simple idea yet perfect to keep your gear clean. WOW!
Its always the simple ideas that are hard to think of, lol... hope you liked the video. :)
Ich liebe deine Tutorials.
Du bist ein sympathischer Kerl.
☺️👏🇭🇷
Thank you.
Thanks Jason brilliant video, always inspiring to watch :)
You guys are awesome. Thanks for the tips
Thank you! Appreciate the compliment and comment!
Thanks so much Jason for these tips, the tape and colour markers worked best for me. I use Chalkola chalk pens which works really well on the magic tape but cleans off the Plexi so easily if I miss 😉
I don't think that I have tried the Chalk Pens yet, glad to hear they worked out really well for you! The image you posted in the FB group is AWESOME!
Hobe Perfect 👏👏👏👏
Thank you very much :)
AWESOME!!!!!!!! as always!
Thanks Bryan, appreciate the support. Hope it's helpful.
Wow
Thanks!
I bet the feather attachment with one edge colored orange, and one face colored red would make a wicked fire brush.
Absolutely!
I monkeyed around trying to add colour in various ways but in the end the LLB colour filters are the easiest and simplest approach. They also work with multiple tools.
Agreed they are the easiest way! :)
Great video. Great information..
Thank you.
EXELANT IDEA,S AND GREAT VIDEO AS ALWAYS....
Thank you!
good job
Thank you.
Great ideas but I don’t know where I can obtain the gear! You said “on the link below” but how do I access the information? Thanks!
All the links are listed in the description below the video. :)
This video is great. Thanks for sharing.
What would work best for making a diy universal holder and for the base of plexiglass ? Thanks 😊
Thank you, glad you liked it. What would be best is to go to LightPaintingBrushes.com and get a Universal Connector :) Second best idea is to use some rubber hose and pipe clamps from the hardware store to make a DIY version.
Дякую!
You're Welcome, glad you enjoyed it. :)
I have use tin foil to reflect the light. It’s interesting but I need practise yet ☺️
I bet that gave you some cool results. I am gonna give that one a try.
LightPaintingPhoto I like what it looks like making flowers heads. Still needs work yet ☺️
You COULD wrap it in saran wrap and THEN spray paint it... :). What would happen if you were to put a hole in the middle of one of those blades?
Yes you could, lol. A hole in the middle could also make for some really interesting effects. That is the beauty of Light Painting and Light Painting Tools the possibilities are really limitless!
Tks nice video dude
Thank you, appreciate it.
Hi , would the universal connector fit any tube ? And where is best to buy please ,thank you
The Universal Connector is designed to work with all the different Light Painting Brushes Tools, you can see them all here: lightpaintingbrushes.com
Hey Jason I seen your photos you posted but I didn't see any purple or cyan colors but I've heard you say it display orange and pink so my question is does frank light offer those colors within it's changing pattern or only red blue & green ? - Thanks in advance .
Frank's Lights have many different color options.
the link for the vinyl transparent color goes to amazon and its says currently unavailable....
I saw that, they were available when I made the video, they might have sold out of them. I have written the company to find out when they will be back up. I'll comment back here as soon as I hear back.
UPDATE: Just got an email back and unfortunately they have sold out but should have them back up in about a week.
Hi I want color change light where I get it any link
The link is in the description of the video, I also responded to your previous comment with the link my friend. Here it I again: You can reach the maker of the color changing flashlight on his instagram, his name is Frank: instagram.com/lightexcursion
Do you have a link for the color changing flashlight?
Sure thing, best to reach Frank on his instagram as he doesn't have a website for the flashlights. Here is a link to his IG: instagram.com/lightexcursion/ Links to all the stuff I talked about is also in the description if you want to check out any of the other gear.
I really like the way that you explain things Jason. and using things that are affordable thank you I do enjoy your videos very much
Were can I get franks light from
The best way is on Franks Instagram, instagram.com/lightexcursion/ make sure to tell he Jason sent ya :)
💥 Can anyone share their favorite flashlight.??
I’m looking for something with a strobe mode that I don’t have to cycle through the solid light modes to get to it.
The Soonfire MX66 flashlight is my favorite light. Its bright and affordable $40, you have access to the strobe mode by holding down the top button. The strobe is an alternating frequency. Here is the link: amzn.to/45SmqZB
@@LightPaintingPhotography you say MX66 but the link takes me to MX 65
Its the same one, the listing has not been updated is my guess when I ordered from that link I received the MX66
@@Jimmy_Cavallo
@@LightPaintingPhotography Thanks, bro. I just got it in the mail today and it was the MX66. I ordered it in silver but it’s a green color and I am totally ok with it. The light really is awesome and accessing the strobe mode is easy but I think as you mentioned it’s not a steady flash at the same speed.
Love your videos. Thanks for the ideas. I have your starter set and a plexiglass shape. I like the idea of Frank's light. However, I am not on Instagram. Is there some other contact info I could use to contact him?
Instagram is his preferred method specifically for the RGB custom lights but you can also check out his website photoexcursion.com there is some contact info at the top of his site.
Schöne Blade,, aber der Versand nach Deutschland ist zu teuer.. Genau wie euerem Teile..
Thank you, appreciate your kind words. :)
