Yes it does. The University of Alabama sits adjacent to the Black Warrior River. This river provides sufficient moisture to produce snow at least once almost every winter.

@@jaquaveonandress649 when I was in college at the University of Alabama back in the mid to late 1990s, it snowed at least one good time every winter. You have to realize that Tuscaloosa sits in south western Alabama. The south does receive snowfall every winter, but not a copious amount.
