Pro tip: Shift + Auto-pass to skip all active and response priority. A simple auto-pass only skips active priority.
15:00 That miss click was tragic... We know that following the stack is and has always being a pain in the ass when you try to resolve a lot of cards and effects but if we are honest the game should have another visual help to show you which targets have already been selected during the casting. The arrow and moving aside the cards works but when there are tokens that look the same or multiple copies of the same card tracking which has being selected can get complicated. The orange highlight on the border of the card that is already being used could be also repurposed for that.
Yeah, it does move the top one off the stack, but it's a very minor visual cue that's easy to miss. It would be nice if it moved it off to the side a little more, or gave a different color border to cards you've targeted.
It honestly probably doesn't come up often enough to make such a change.
If you hover over a spell while it’s on the stack, it will show you its target.
@@tinytony5222 What i mean is that after you select a target it gets highlighted on the table and move aside but the ones that are not stay on their normal color so you don't have to do the busy work of guessing what has being selected and what not.
I think that the way arena lines up the cards has been changed in one of the latest updates. I am very confused lately when i click on a permanent that is stacked and it suddenly moves aside, leaving me asking which one i clicked already. This didn't happen to me in the past, as far as i can remember.
I did some painful missklicks, causing me to lose the game instantly, like the situation in this video :/
Also i noticed mtg arena streamers struggle with the same problem now and then, moving the mouse pointer to the wrong side.
It wasn't a misclick, if was the game being a dick. He selected the copy on the right and it switched their positions so quickly you could easily miss it unless you looked for it. I didn't notice either until after it happened. It's worse than just making it hard to tell.

You make all of the planeswalkers into creatures and then boardwipe.
Play Gideon and -6 after combat. you could also play Nissa, Narset (iko), or anybody with an emblem, and another Sarkhan to make them creatures and give them a bazillion loyalty.
If you had gajilion loyalty on ozolith, best bet would most likely be Nicol Bolas

You could have used the clear the mind on your opponent when you had all those smothering tithe copies. You would have gotten a boat load of treasure tokens to cast more spells and use those to cast Purphoros's Intervention through all your thousand year storms.

You can actually Beanstalk and growth spiral at 3:20, since the Beanstalk land comes in untapped.

The miss-click on the ajani is kind of the fault of the client. it shimmers the 3 counters on the one that wasn't clicked for some reason. MTGA needs a better way to show what has been chosen in stacks when they separate.
Also the way it moved made it look like the one he clicked stayed in place.

No because it would just shuffle the opponent's graveyard into their library and the Dark Lord would still be drawing cards. The wording of Clear the Mind says "Draw a card" not "That player then draws a card" so its the player who casts it that draws regardless of the target.

If you build this deck with smothering tithe you need to add a spell that can make your opponent draw a card so that you can get a ton of mana by forcing them to draw

Your opponent doesn't draw the cards even if you target them, otherwise he would've targetted them instead of drawing ~20 cards lol.

i tried this against a friend of mine.... mtga.exe stopped working, with "only" 117 storm on the battlefield, and a copy of purphoros intervention for 1 that would copy 4 times. I don't know how it glitched out but i guess 500-ish tokens is a bit too much? Disappointed

Instead of targeting yourself with clear the mind so many times, you could have targeted the opponent, which would have triggered the Tithe, giving you more mana, then you could have used intervention to win the game.
The target for clear the mind is for shuffling the graveyard back into the deck. You still draw a card regardless of the Player you are targeting, so that wouldn't work
