True motorbiking territory...done this trip from PE by bike a number of times and fall in love with this great land all over each time! Lots of stops along the road and wonderful watering holes! Thanks for sharing!
I loved this so much! Route 44 which runs from Wellington all the way to Somerset West (yes, through the iconic Stellenbosch) must surely have the most wine estates on the planet!
A landscape to treasure, including its delightful towns and villages. I could not help but notice, however, the many barred windows, and wonder if this is indicates the need to protect against burglaries and being attacked in one's bed ?
Professional made video, love it. I myself have traveled this route (not exactly the same) and loved every minute of it. Made also a video of it more pronouncing the wideness of the area and not so polished as this one but I did a fairly good job (as I may say myself)
This is land of my children's ancestry...the same land that the brave Boers developed into the Paradise on Earth that it is today. I hope the presently aggressive, communist expropriation leaves this piece of Paradise alone! It deserves to remain the same for many generations to come. It should be part of UNESCO: "DO NOT TOUCH PIECE OF EARTH"

Route 62 is also one the great motorbike routes. From Meiringspoort to Worcester , lovely ride.

Take 2 aspirins before you go to bed. That is my remedy for a hangover the next day. You will need this advice on that adventure!
