This is amazing because you sing the low parts while Adrisaurus sings the high parts. It's PERFECT!

Lend me your ears, I’ll be your eyes.'For some reason these lines in particular really stand out to me and I really love them.
I agree those lines hold the most weight in the song.

This is the first anime I've seen (well after Pokémon) so...I just started crying...

Sapphire is still the only anime cover youtuber that consistently gives me goosebumps. Even when I haven't seen the original.

Her voice is too inflexible, and I have major personal issues with how much she changes the lyrics on songs from what the official translations/common sense translations are. For me, a cover is a song with different instruments/voice, and in the case of a song with lyrics, making major changes to those lyrics without very good reason is a major no-no for me, as it fundamentally alters the song and the feel of it. If Amalee had them labelled as 'my interpretation of' rather than as covers, I wouldn't have such a big problem.
The so-called 'cover' of Dearly Beloved is a perfect example of my problems with her. You can't call completely fabricating lyrics to a instrumental song a cover.
A few of her songs are near/total re-writes (I don't speak japanese fluently, and would never claim to, but I do know enough in common phrases and words, and am capable of deciphering google translate based on context well enough to tell that a lot of her work makes unnecessary changes to lines for no legitimate reason other than that she wants to.) that change the message intended by the lyrics. Many of them feature changes to the lyrics that don't fit in the context of the original song.
I just don't like the way she changes things.
While Sapphire does re-tool the lyrics a bit, most the time it's for better flow and legibility and has little to no effect on the core feel of the song.
That and I do like Sapphire's voice a lot better, it's fuller and has more depth than Amalee's breathy voice. Sapphire also can flex her voice to fit the song better than Amalee can.
Part of it is my own idiosyncracies.
One of which involves lyrics. If I completely ignore the lyrics, I have little problem with Amalee aside from the vocal inflexibility issue. However, if I already know what the lyrics are supposed to be, either from official translations, or deciphering the japanese lyrics myself, it ruins any possiblility of enjoying the song for me, when the lyrics are signifigantly different.
If the lyrics are too different, it feels very off to me. It's too dissonant from how my mind feels it should go. The feeling is not necessarily negative, although for me, the changes Amalee makes are consistently in a manner that feels negative to me.
+jtnachos16 I feel like her lyrics, while different, still convey the message of the original versions. Dearly Beloved is a vocal cover, so she wrote those lyrics to relate to Kingdom Hearts

Except that when it is majorly altered in core melody or lyrics, it is no longer a cover. Adding lyrics to a song that is instrumental is in no way a cover. It completely alters the original song.
+jtnachos16 there's nothing wrong with being creative with the cover, both lyric-wise and instrumental-wise. But we all have our own opinions

+黃鑫（mario123007） no, that is a similar song (composition wise) called "icon" that has completely different lyrics than "ninelie." There's a reason they have completely different titles. Just compare the english translation for ninelie to the english lyrics in icon.

Have a like, this is like really good. When I listened to Lapis Lazuli, AmaLee and Miku-tan had really good synergy that their vocals really mixed together well.
