- Mashed potato with 1 egg! Super simple and delicious potato and egg recipe
Ingredients and recipe:
200g Leftover mashed potatoes
1 Small egg
Mix well
50g Flour
Mix well
40g Shredded cheese
15g Green onion
Add salt to taste
Add black pepper to taste
Add a pinch of crushed red pepper (optional)
Mix well
Add some vegetable oil
Add potato batter to the pan
Cook for 5 minutes on medium heat
After 5 minutes
Flip over and cook for another 3-5 minutes
Done!
Super crispy outside and super soft inside!
You can eat this with sour cream!
Also can add some green onion

I grew up in the 60s and 70s. There was 7 of us. My mother made potato cakes with leftover mashed potatoes all of the time. I make them sometimes.

I don't think I've ever had eggs in my potatoes but it does look good.

I was going to suggest baked beans miss the onion out even and both ways baked beans would work 25p a small tin of beans.should be 12p but :-( lovely easy recipe nice student food.

By the time I've peeled and boiled and mashed potatoes, I'm not about to start messing about mixing other stuff in, patting it, frying it, patting it, flipping it, patting it......

Great videos but wish the recipes were healthier. No front, cheese, eggs, etc. for those cholesterol conscious.
Actually, the eggs and cheese were the healthiest foods in the entire recipe. Research carnivore and/or keto diet. Wihh regards to cholesterol, big pharma has deceived us for decades, in order to keep us sick and them wealthy. Chosterol is good - your body and brain and need it to function properly.
Then adapt it.
