Wind on the Hill - Naoya Wada

Composer Naoya Wada has written Wind On The Hill as an ode to his youth. As a child he lived in a house on a steep hill. From here he had a clear view of the nearby town, the amusement park, and the yearly firework display in the bay. All of these aspects as well as the wind as the title suggests have been worked into the piece. Naoya left the hill at age eighteen.

Has a little of Mahler Symphony 1 in its vision (but of course not musical themes, this is unique)... Mahler loved hiking through forests, your vision is of this hill showing everything around you in a wonderful landscape!
