Wearable Speaker for Running or Cycling - Tribit StormBox Micro 2 - Review

My first impressions and review of the Tribit StormBox Micro 2. This tiny, fully waterproof Bluetooth speaker is designed for portability above all else. It's perfect for running, cycling or even in a business environment as a speakerphone when you're not in the office.

I really like this speaker. The pure simplicity of the design and function and the fantastic way this can attach easily to a belt, handlebars, backpack even just around the strap of a handbag makes this something you can use everywhere.
Since filming this video, I have used this speaker whilst cycling. I'm not trying to disturb anyone with music, but it's so much safer than using earbuds which, even with transparency mode, distracts you from your surroundings. With the speaker on your shoulder, you don't need it loud to hear even whilst cycling at speed. The three main buttons on the top are very simple to reach if you need to adjust the volume. Great little device!

Nice video but shame that no reviewer explains how to disable the Powerbank Mode. For example if if plug the Tribit to a Powerbank, you probably don't want the Tribit to charge the Powerbank but rather receive power off it.

Yes. No problem with higher wattage. It will only provide the power required.

I like this stormbox 2 but certainly not that rubber strap. The JBL clip 4 is much better and safer with the clip on feature.

I've got two Stormbox Micro 1s and the rubber strap is an extraordinary feature in my opinion, I mounted them on numerous places e.g. fences, trees, bikes, shower room bars, backpacks, etc., never ever had accidental release of the strap.
A pair of Stormbox Micro 2 is on its way to me, I have to take away the old ones. I hope it will be a bit better in every aspect. (That's the promise.)

it's what it looks like, but it's not, this strap is very good, it's Bose style.

The only issue with JBL clip 4 , it sounds like junk in comparison hahaha.
