I'm 50 years young and still loving :))) joy vision and new order !!!!!!!!
I have you beat by 20 years. I am 70 and still love/listen to this music (as well as newer/current band!)
I'm 55, retired dance kid, Phoenix, S.Beach,... melts my heart still, never married, no kids,..talking to the Lord, asking him for forgiveness , salvation is ALL we can hope for.....
shocking how few plays this has, I have literally listened to it 40 times
I'm pretty satisfied with the 107K views. but I love that you listened 40 times.
100% promised this will be the last thing I listen to do before I die. My favourite song slowed to be able to recall all my precious moments and memories
Ceremony is my all time favorite song. I think it perfectly embodies the transition from the 70s to the 80s.
Forever
A truley beautiful, amazing, clever, inspirational mix, genius at work here, kudos and respect amigo ❤ I doff my cap, splendid 👏 💪😎
I love the idea of this, but the sound quality is not great at all. Sounds like I’m listening on a speakerphone. There’s no bass on my stereo.
... Me too: I m fond of JD and in love with NO..
You did a magnificent work, a piece of beauty and magic. Chapeau
God bless you
I've listened to this song a couple of times a month, since 1982 and this has added a few more listens. Brilliant, thankyou.
Ethereal. Best mashup/mix I've heard in a looong time. Well done!
I NEEDED THIS. Truly needed exactly this! God Bless!
Ever since this came up in my suggestions I've listened almost every day. Absolutely loving it, great mix.
Such an emotional band … never fails to make me bubble up … thank whatever God still exists for them
This is a gracious study in blended appreciation for one of the best songs of the 80's, post punk and modern rock era's by a band that evolved when it had to through tragedy. They traveled musically of two distinct personalities and sounds styles, this effort captures the spirit of their combined essence and the greater sound project here is also a tribute, a capsule with a modern, ambient shoe gaze twist. Well done.
Wow! What a talented person you are. This is sublime! Thank you for this.
Thank you. It was great to begin with, I just put it all together. JD and NO are the truly talented ones.
@@kiltedanais Thanks for putting this stuff all together, it is very special. And some of the recordings are completely new to me.
Great work, but for me the best version is the the NO original version, thats the one i had on a k7, recorded from the radio in 1981, and i listened hundred of times, and still do
Dankjewel hogere krachten
A masterpiece spawns a masterpiece. Great work man!
I love ❤️ this a lot. Thanks for this version.
Awesome take. Thank you for this
Love Ceremony it really shows how clever Ian Curtis was as a writer. The best version is to see it live
Beautiful ceremony...

TaXXaT
This has got be one of the best ever tnx
I can't stop listening to this
Great work. Great mix.
whoever you are: thank you! a thousand times, thank you. This is a magnificent song, at the very top of the list of all the great JD and early New Order songs. And other than the original New Order 12-inch, they never really recorded a great version. (Radiohead's cover is wonderful, though.) Anyway, thanks!!!! if you can do this with "Love will Tear Us Apart," you'll earn a Nobel prize.
I have that 80% done. Been busy but will try to load it and a Kate Bush soon. Thank you!
Check the Salford Music Festival with Peter Hook and the Light. The version of LWTUA is absolutely incredible . Ceremony and Atmosphere will also send chills down your spine.
I get what you mean with the " praise" , but the Nobel Peace Prize means "ABSOLUTELY " nothing , ever since they gave it to obama...
thank you so much for this
thank you for this
This song changed my life!! I'm going to make a difference in the world and these versions are going to be my beginning!I IT will be my purpose to spread love and the beauty we are capable of expressing.
Great, piece of my soul

Awesome sauce from l.a california. Who would of thunk. I like this alot. Nice patience. Super sauced.
Thank you!
Its so perfect
Amazing!!
Its wild to hear how 1963 is so closely related... great job with the melding and juxtaposition of themes
One of the best songs they ever did.defo best record of 1981.
Crucial.
I remember buying this in my post punk phase before the sun turned black
SO AWESOME 💚♥️
So good. Ty!
Simply amazing.
wonderful, thanks.
I was 16, it was the mid eighties and I met Tommie at a record store in Houston, within 5 minutes of meeting someone new Tommie always asked "what's your favorite song", looking back I am sure it was a way to see if there was a future friendship or not, I answered "New Order, Ceremony" I still remember his reply "Oh 5hit have you heard the original?" Two years later I left to college and never saw Tommie again, Thanks Tommie
Maybe Tommie will somehow see your comment and JD NO can bring old friends together after decades
Hi it’s Tommi and you made me pregnant I want with quad triplets so you OWE a TON of money 💵
This version is fantastic.
like your favorite layered cake you cant wait to eat. thanks mate.
Wonderful!
Makes me wanna scream I miss you and love you John.
Fantastic. Heaven.
Great emotions thanks
Soundtrack to life. thanks from lancs.
Forever watch The love grow...! Go in silence.
This is very cool

My fav ✅
This is phenomenal. I'd love to see something like this, but a track by track recreation of Unknown Pleasures using only covers.
There's not a lot of good covers of every song on that album, but I like where your head is at.
This is cooooooooool.
Brilliant
nice mix
@@thedude64 I am not, but I take that as a huge compliment. Better to be thought of as French than American. Ha ha ha
@@kiltedanais Oh !! Merci beaucoup.
In the land of Ian a classic unique not mass produced I’m of to smoke my origami slippers
This is our gen music. I started a band PRIEMONĖS (A MEANS in Lithuanian)
If your band has a youtube channel, please post the link here so we all can enjoy it when you are ready to share.
Wow!
Genius hermoso
A perfect 34 min of my life
mate, this is not a mix, this is a journey
Formidàvel!!!!
Please check out Hook's latest and quit possibly best version of Ceremony that doesn't have Ian's voice---- czcams.com/video/uEdzjn1tV94/video.html
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Try Ceremony cover by Galaxie 500
YES! Love that version too. I can't recall why I skipped it, something to do with the matching of rhythm or pitch that I couldn't get to work, or I ran out of space czcams.com/video/Ss1MbL4NYf0/video.html
🔥
You should make a version 30m/1h00 looped only from your ambiant stretched version.
Músic of My live
The'm ends.
So much winning
Did you make a repaint e did It Very fucking well
didn't they have this song called perlin noise?
🥰
apparently 106 comments on here, I didnt count, and not one mentioned the album cover and FAC. 33 reference - can anyone enlighten me what it means, thanks in advance
the FAC is for Factory Records, I always assumed the number was the 33rd record/album, much like Mute records Bong labels you see on Depeche Mode and their other artists. Anyone feel free to correct me or be more precise. The wolf and red flame with the Latin word Veritas (meaning Truth) is still is mystery to me. check out thevinylfactory.com/features/tracing-the-art-of-new-order-in-10-iconic-record-sleeves/ it doesn't explain your question but wonderful just the same.
@@kiltedanais you are so kind to reply many thanks oh nearly forgot, and for the link much appreciated
you skipped the best version! Galaxie 500!
Please tell me you were not sober when you made this? It has Colombian powder all over it.
LOL. Sorry to disappoint but I was completely sober, if it were what you suggest, it's be 100 times faster and more loops.. Glad you liked it though
Almost reminds me of a stylish Elenore Rigby
looks like 'street-ched'
And Hazel for the win. Yes it actually does say Street-ched because pulling the word stretch vocally for 5 beats longer makes it sound like Steeeeeet - ched, well depending on one's accent I guess
Poor sound quality of this upload is ruining it. I don’t know what you did wrong, but this is kind of unlistenable. Sounds like when I used to try to record stuff off MTV by holding a tape recorder to the TV when I was a kid.
for the radiohead portion, you're a bit right in that theirs was recording using their camera audio and not studio quality, but I like the song anyway. not sure what else would sound like that. you're stereo is probably better than what I listened with while mixing so maybe you hear things I don't. thanks for stopping by though.
The 80s for people who knew what music could be.
And the late 70's
