"..same old Gremlins body we've seen numerous times" - This is a brand new, late 2018 Gremlins body. So there was 2 Gremlins movies. This is a Gremlin from the first movie. The same old body comment is pertaining to the Gremlins 2 Gremlin figures; which are completely different in design. But yeah, these are the modern NECA Gremlins joints. I own the '03 Gremlins figures from them, and the newer articulation is definitely an improvement. Although they could use a bicep swivel and some alternate hands for sure.
Okay, the engineering reminds me of old Neca stuff, but that's cool they made some updates instead of a straight re use for sure.

Yeah, lol it would've been crazy if they went with the Gremlins 2 body. And is it just me, or are these figures too damn big? I mean, it would've been nicer to have made them the new Chucky figure size when they relaunched the line years back. I'd much rather have my Gremlins in a 6 3/4" or whatever scale to go along with all my other NECA figures. They're some odd scale..like 1/5th.
@@Chalor. They're very big in that way, but I'm not sure how else NECA would've settled on a size, you know? I agree though, they're just in their own scale

These molds aren't recycled from the original figures. They're way more accurate to the first film. The old molds were basically copies from movie poster and such. These new figures are way better, trust me!

These Gremlins are not the same as the 1st ones neca did. These are slightly more articulated this time by the jaw and ears and abs (crunch) have movement now. Plus the name "Ultimate" is Neca rehashing a lot of their figs because they were more statues and not articulated as much the 1st time released.

This and Stripe are on the way. Cannot wait. The anticipation is killing me. These are sooo good.
It’s a new body
My gremlin holds his cola just fine, and just so you know this guy is a brand new sculpt with more articulation than the other gremlins they did before I know as I own them.
These guys are great for 1/6 scale I’m have them attacking Logan and Ironman hottoys
People always put the popcorn bags on upside down. His ears went in the opening right?
I wasn't sure. The ones that came with this figure are just sleeves open at both ends.
How do you get the joins to get so loose?
a hair dryer!
Shame it couldn't hold all the accessories.
Neca should of add articulation to the fingers.
Did you have any locked up/super stiff joints when you opened the figure?
Yes! I always use a hair dryer on NECA figures to loosen them up before testing joints

NECA's eBay store. When in doubt, just go on eBay. You'll always be able to find stuff available to ship, while other sites still have it on pre-order.
