What a busy few weeks it has been on the farm! So many things have happened and we want to share everything going on with all the rescued Belgian Draft Horses and other animals on the farm!
First, Blue the donkey that was rescued at the end of last year, she had her baby on April 6th! A beautiful baby girl who we named Violet! Both mom and foal are doing well with no complications.
Our latest three Belgian Draft horses rescued from slaughter have been doing so well! Will has been walking better after getting his stifle joint injected along with his OsPhos injection. We have not introduced him to the herd yet because he needs to gain some more weight and strength. In the afternoons we take him for walks in the pasture. Grace has been receiving her EPM treatments and has started to walk a little better. Once the treatment is completed we will have Dr. Waggoner reassess her to see if she will need a second round of treatment. Grace is doing amazing and enjoying every bit of retirement! Maisie, the 3rd horse we rescued is doing well too! She has been turned out with the rest of the horses and is finding her place in the herd. She is learning to make friends!
Korbin...has left the back yard finally! We moved him into the barn to start getting adjusted to the herd. Geldings will be geldings and there have been a few scuffles but we are working through the issues!
We have also been busy with visitors coming to the farm. Training our new intern, Tarin and starting to plan our therapy program. Most of you know, all the horses on the farm are here for retirement. Our plan was to start a therapy program for people with disabilities. We have started working on our business model for the program and can't wait to share what the plan will look like when completed.
We hope you enjoy this video! Make sure you like, comments and subscribe to our channel so you don't miss anything happening around here! Because it's never a dull moment!
If you would like to visit the farm, send us an email with the dates you will be in Amarillo, Texas and we will work to set up a time to visit.

As a growing horse rescue group, we rely on monetary donations to keep the organization moving forward. The Big Hoof Foundation will always be transparent with how your donations are used. 100% of the money we raise goes directly to the rescued horses' bail fees, transport, feed, hay, medical bills, medications, alternative medical treatments, supplements, surgeries, etc. Every dollar raised is for the horses!
Our ability to help these horses is only because of the generous donations from our subscribers and followers! Please consider making a tax deductible donation to the Big Hoof Foundation to help us save more of these precious lives from shipping to slaughter and provide them with the care they deserve. It’s beyond my comprehension how these Amish treat their Horses. There is a special place in Hell for anyone who abuses These Gentle Giants. God Bless you All At Fletcher Farm🙏
They don't treat their people any better. Alot of unreported crimes.
Especially since the horses provide so much for them.😢
@@IzzaMeanCat
Not all Amish are the same. There are 40+ different sects, all with different rules. One sect can be drastically different than another.
@Right2Carry1911 I know all too much about the Amish. You won't change my mind nor will I believe anything you say.

Congratulations! 🙄
So many horses in the afternoon of their lifes.
And in the middle of them all a little baby donkey is born! Isn't life wonderful?
Thks for sharing, dear Julie❣️
It's SO wonderful to see Will Grace & Massie doing so well!!! Having the time of their lives & enjoying their much deserved retirement. God bless all who donate to help continue the rescues & other things involved. Biggest thanks to Julie, Corey & staff. May God reward you greatly!
Korben is magnificent! I am glad he is meeting the herd. 😊❤. Maisie is wonderful! She wants to be friends with everyone, even after all she has been through! ❤❤. Love Fletcher Farms and The Big Hoof Foundation!! 😊❤
It's wonderful how good Grace feels. It's just great that you are able to rescue and retire these great old animals. Your new baby is adorable.
Violet! Welcome!
Fletcher Farms is such a blessing to these beautiful horses! Thank you for all you do. ❤
I love your updates and that baby donkey is so sweet. Thank you again for saving all of them❤
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching!
Julie, thanks for the update! It seems to be a really happy spring on the farm. So many things to smile about and everyone is healthy at the same time.
We know you're so, so busy with the herd. Somehow you found the time for us and that is very much appreciated.
I adore these majestic horses , you and Corey should be proud of what you have achieved. ❤️❤️🇬🇧
It's really wonderful to see the 3 new Belgians doing so well especially Grace, the meds have really worked well for her and long may this improvement continue and baby donkeys.....oh my goodness they are just the cutest🐴🐎🐴
Imagine without you Guys this Beautiful baby Donkey would never seen the daylight but probably slaughtered with her Mother…😮
Look as these giant Ears…❤❤❤So lovely seeing these Oldies having so much fun….❤❤❤
WOW JULIE.....Korbin is a Huge, Magnificent horse. No wonder he was used for breeding. Sure glad he's at your farm. Will is a good looking horse and little Grace are both seem to know they are HOME and don't have to worry anymore. I'm curious to see how Grace is doing a year from now. She looks happy & not in pain & hopefully the EPM treatment should help a bit!! I remember when you started with only Jack the donkey and the original six Belgian's.....since then your sanctuary/retirement & horse resort has really expanded. God bless everyone involved with your organizations.❤❤
It is so interesting seeing Korben meeting and greeting the other horses! I think he's probably never been allowed to interact with other horses much because he was used for breeding only, and when that's the case, that is all the stud horses want to do. So it will be exciting to see him learn for the first time in his life, just how to get along with a herd of horses!
Thank you for keeping us updated, and including us in your wonderful life!
Amazing that an approved stallion ends up at a slaughter house. People on one hand are horrible, and then their are people like you. Thank you for saving them.
Absolutely adore your videos, Julie. Thank you. Violet is too precious for words. What a clever mama Blue is. So good to watch the interaction and the usual horse behaviour with Korbin and the herd. Dying to see Liam's story. He is my fav x
Congratulations Blue on your very very beautiful baby Violet. You are one lucky donkey to have been rescued. You are a very caring mama. I am guessing you have had foals before Blue but you and Violet will be able to stay together this time. Love all the horses, Korban is very beautiful. Glad he is getting to meet the herd. Blessings to all 🙏🌠💖🇨🇦
I just love the verbal interaction between Korbin and the other boys. Julie - what you both have created is just wonderful. I wish you every continuing success with all the horses. xx
Violet, what a lovely name you have chosen for the baby ❤
Blue is very protective. Good job mama.😊
Thanks for the update, Julie🙏
What a joy to see these wonderful and happy animals in horse paradise! You and Cory are angels on earth, thanks for your amazing work day by day🙏 Much love from Germany 👋❤😊
Hallo Ute geht es dir gut an der See? Grüße aus dem Schwarzwald

@@lianeschwarzwalder7289 Moin Liane!
@@lianeschwarzwalder7289 vielen Dank, liebe Liane🙏❤ Schnee ?
Maisie seems like a peacemaker. And Violet is too cute!
Thank you for the upload, Julie. Wonderful news about mamaBlue and baby.✨️💖✨️💕✨️
Rescuing all these horses from slaughter is amazing. You give them love and affection and the opportunity to lhave a peaceful and happy retirement. I enjoy so much watching your videos. Congrats on the birth of the baby donkey. She is absolutely adorable. Good luck to you Julie. Wish you all the best.❤
Omg!! Sooooo adorable that they are in the best place possible to be happy and healthy. The only thing you and your husband don't do is let them all come inside the house to visit you😂❤ I just love you guys. You both have the biggest hearts
Thank you so much!
Grace is looking SO much better since her first EPM treatment!! That baby donkey is sassy! 🙌🏻♥️
Adorable how the other donkeys and horses were so interested in the baby.
They all so so good beautiful ❤️❤️ !! Would love to hear the story about marty. The baby donkey is adorable ❤ thankyou for saving these precious lives.❤❤❤❤❤❤
What a positive vortex your farm is. My heart is all warmed up watching your update before getting out of bed this morning . I’m ready to start my day. Big love to all of you at FF!
Hi Terrin, welcome to our world!! I think you will love working with everyone and the big babies especially Freya ❤. To know you are doing God's work here on earth, you will have emence blessings, my dear.😇🙏👍
Thank you! We enjoy having Tarin here and she’s such a big help with taking care of the horses.
Love to watch the updates on everyone 🎉❤ Blue & Violet are to adorable 🥰 Glad to hear that everyone is doing well. Thank you for doing what you do & saving these Beautiful horses to give them their best rest of their life!! Belgian Draught horses are one of my favorite draft breeds. Again Thank you!!!
I have been watching since you only had 3 horses. I do love Drafts! I wish my Social Security would stretch far enough to donate but, I love your videos and I look forward to your updates.
Another wonderful update video! A tip for the visitor so you don't drop the treat and protect your fingers, just hold your hand out flat with the treat resting in the palm of your hand. The horse will be able to grab it and your fingers will be safe.
Congratulations on the new baby❤❤❤
So sweet!!! Thanks for sharing, they are All so sweet! Good job guys!!!
Congrats on beautiful baby donkey and Grace is amazing. And glad other horses are doing well ❤
Thank you, Julie, everything looks great. Welcome, little Violet, and a proud and protective Blue, over her. Violet is soooo sweet. I'm glad both momma and baby are healthy. Thank you for showing or telling us everyone's name. What's the Golden Tabby's name. Horses ARE special and grateful for your passion for these beautiful horses, so deserving of retirement, love, and sanctuary. Thank you again on the update.
Welcome baby Violet! So precious 🥹 To watch Corbin meet the herd is so special! And he did really good. To see him with Amelia was so, so sweet! To see the whole herd makes my heart sing. I have been on the journey with you and watching the videos for so long, it just makes me so happy to see all of the horses! You are really doing such an amazing job with them and they are incredibly lucky to have found your way to you! „Good lip action“ had me in fits 😂😂😂
I don’t know how you do it all. Just amazing. Thank you for saving all of these beautiful horses. And donkeys. And dogs. And cats. And everything.💕
Good to see everybody are doing well. Blue is a good mamma 💙 little Violet is very pretty. Long legs. She might be taller then her mom when she gets growing up! ❤ I love your orange cat following you around every where you go. 😊 such a sweet supervisor❤
I have a tuxedo cat 😺
I have to admit something....I have a crush on Korbin!!❤
Everyone does!
Korbin is stunningly gorgeous. I am so glad to see him getting introduced. I am sure he will find his place and friends among your group. I am also glad to see you are getting help around the barn, too. There is always something to be done. Hopefully, new grasses are starting to pop up in the grazing field for the horses. Thank you for the updates!
New baby donkey is absolutely adorable mama blue it looks great that baby doggy does not know we could do what you said is so cute to see. Congratulations❤
Thank you for the update! 🎉 Congrats on the newest addition Violet 💕 🥰
Once Korbin gets acclimated to the herd and time increases after his gelding, the stallion behavior should lessen a bit. Being gelded at a later time in life will not totally erase the learned behaviors he acquired over his life. He should be a fine horse and could end up herd leader? We shall see. Thank you for what you do!!!!
What a wonderful picture? Horses, birds and the other donkeys all looking in on the new born. Like an old fashioned Disney film lol. 😊
Mama blue look at those ears WOW 👌 baby violet is so cute bless them and you❤❤❤❤
I miss seeing videos of the horses. I hope I get to see a new one soon. Miss seeing Charlie, Korbin, Liam and Anna!!
Just uploaded a new video explaining why we have been away for a minute.
❤really enjoy these updates. Thank you
Violet is just the cutest addition. Glad you rescued Blue in time. Liam, Liam ... can't wait. I want to come work for you! Long commute from Missouri, though.
I enjoy watching how the horses, donkeys, goats even the cats are looking for you. The all love to be near!
Hercules and Maysi where nose booping like to little shy ones, to cute! And Violet, what a pretty name, I found her little lip spreading very adorable!
I was looking for that update, thank you ✌🏻
Love hearing about all the goings on. Thank you for all you do for these lovely beasts.
Just found your channel, thankyou for the wonderful work in saving these beautiful animals and taking the time to love and care for them. Some I know have had a terrible existence up until now, it's great the they learn people can care and love them and not all humans are bad. I look forward to many more videos and getting to know everyone well. Watching and following from the UK. Bless you all ❤❤❤
The baby is such a gift in so many ways, thank you for doing this rescue and caring so much about these beautiful horses.
Miss you much, hope to hear from you guys soon
❤ grats on the new baby! Thank you for all you are doing and thanks for the invite. I would love to visit and talk about everything. See everyone.❤
Absolutely!! Let us know when you would like to visit!
It’s the cutest, yeah!
Miss you guys so much. Good to see a video.
It has been busy around here as always!
Ahhh she’s so sweet. Congratulations. 💋❤️🫏
Hi, Julie. If you were to put a little mobile home on your property and rent it out as an Air B&B and allow people to come spend a few days or a week helping care for the horses... you would have so many takers. I would come in a heartbeat.
Great work Julie❣️ always love and rest for all💋💋💋🙏👏✌️❣️
Yes! Thank you!
Thank you so much for all the hard, selfless work you do to help those who can't help themselves.
Have not had any udates for awhile…praying all is well at the farm…
Just uploaded a new video explaining why we have been away for a minute.
I live here in Amarillo..I could go by and check on them if needed
Yay so great to see you back Julie. I suspected you folks have been very busy. Blue’s baby Violet is sooo cute!
You guys are doing such important work!!! ❤
Thank you so much 😀
Lovely to see what is happening with your beautiful horses, and congratulations on your adorable baby donkey! I live in Sweden and watch each and every one of your videos. I so admire what you do, your love and compassion towards these wonderful creatures! Please tell your friend to feed the horses snacks the correct way, by keeping her hand flat. This makes it much easier for them to take the snack without dropping it, and is also much safer for your friend!
Beautiful baby❤
Thank you!
Watching Corbin introduce himself to the others is fascinating. How does he establish his position in the hierarchy? Is it as simple as the horse that doesn’t yield to him is the one above him, and all thoughts who yield are beneath him?
Thank you, Julie, for the update. Grace's sway back could also be due to a lot of foals along with the other two things you mentioned. I've seen it happen with other horses who were just used as brood mares every year. Never having a year off between foals. It can cause a sway back as well. Your friend, who delivers foals every year between December and January, and have been doing so for 30+ years, and I've been in the horse industry in one form or another for over 50 years, from Ontario, Canada, Jenn 💖 🇨🇦
Jennifer nice to see you on this channel too. 💖🌠🍀🇨🇦
@@ruthbickerstaffe1915 Nice to see you!! I hope you had a nice Easter!! Jenn 💖
Hi Jenn unfortunately YT don't send my answer to you - your friend from Germany
❤️ Liane 🇩🇪
@@jenniferlehman326 I had a nice but very quiet Easter. Weather was not great, looking forward to longer days and some sunshine !!!!💖
@ruthbickerstaffe1915 We had great weather here, but we're also looking forward to the longer days and sunshine as well!! Longer daylight hours means I can work the 3 horses I have in for training easier.
Love is a transcendental that breaks all barriers. God bless you.
Nice sharing❤❤❤
Full support🥰
Why does the young helper not flatten her right hand out and put the treat in the palm of her hand. That way the horse can easily get the treat without all the dropping treats.
You are an Angel to these beautiful animals. Thank you.
Hi Fletcher Farms! Just dropping in to say hi. Hope you all are okay through this flooding. 🙏💕🙏
Heavens, Grace gives a whole new meaning to the term "swaybacked". Will this create future medical needs? I have only just found your channel and am loving everything you do, it is definitely time someone fought for these gentle giants, who all to often are literally worked to death for us humans and their reward is that horrendous journey to Mexico with no food or water. I have seen horses loaded up in appalling conditions including obvious broken bones especially legs. The transporters are overcrowded and when a horse goes down they don't care. The hauliers prefer the big draft horses as they are paid by weight. May god bless you and your very special herd.
Who gives them baths that would be very interesting and an all day experience!
Do they get shaven from there winter coat?
What's happening over there?
Are you all right?
Hope you are able to let us know soon. We miss you!❤❤❤
Try a couple of bags of stall wood pellets around water trough. Works great. Never gravel, gives them stone bruises.
In case you haven’t seen her. Bowie has a direct ship Belgian mare in real trouble. Appreciate what you do and that you can’t save them all. Thank you for sharing your journey. Lot 2692 - 5/25
just wondering if all is ok on the farm, had no updates. certainly hope you guys are all well
Grace looks like she has been left in a far-too-small harness for years, and it has moulded her spine that way, i am so glad you checked she isnt in pain, she is cheeky! 💖💖
All these horses must think they've died and gone to heaven thank you so much for giving then a wonderful life
Awe this warms my heart! Thanks for loving these animals
The little baby donkey is so stinking cute!! I so glad Will, Grace and Massie are feeling much better with vet care and love!
Thanks for all of the updates 🎉
CONGRATULATIONS Momma Blue 💙 and welcome to the world Violet 💜!!
You have BEAUTIFUL horses, and you just know that they are all content and well loved!! You have an AMAZING farm. 💗
What a dream to love on these gentle giants all the time. I can understand taking my vacation there.❤
Hi again JULIE
Little Violet wouldn't be here if not for
you two saving her mama. So many thx for going against
your normal adoptions to help. Wonderful to see all doing so good. They're happily turning into cookie monsters lol!
Thx as always for the update. Looking forward to watching Violet growup. Catcha next time.
Wish you would post way more often
ok this is the nicest present ever :D the baby was born on my 50th wedding aniversity
Great work. I live in Vermont and get to drive by a farm that as around a dozen Belgian Draft Horses. In the summer they show them pulling a fancy cart. A couple of years ago they had three foals born on the farm which was amazing to see them grow up.
Hello Julie, I haven't seen any new updates since this video. I hope you all are alright & you haven't had any Tornados. Please, let us know what is going on. Just worried about you.❤
Violet is all ears and legs. Adorable!💖💖
Hi Julie! This was a WONDERFUL video! Your BEST EVER! Thanks so much. Highlights were Corbin the obvious Quarterback of the herd and Little Miss Violet - what a precious gift! Love and hugs from Southern California inland horse country! Yahoo! 🤠🐴🐴🐴💓
your herd is looking good! Grace is such a trucker! your new baby is adorable! Blessings All-Ways!
Wow. Wonderful things happening which are truly heartwarming. So glad you have help now, too, Julie.
Orange kitty is lurking in most scenes, ha.
You folks are a great Blessing to the horse world. ❤️🤠
Joyus blessings. Lord bless all of and the horses!!
such an exciting update!!! Violet is so adorable and that's a beautiful name for the precious baby girl! I love the video of Grace rolling ang there's that huge gap between her back and the ground and she looks like she can't quit roll over so she get's up and then takes a few steps then rolls over again onto her back, legs straight up in the air... and honestly the first time it made me sad, but the more I see it, I see Grace and her unstoppable will to live each and every moment of her new life- whether its climbing the rails because she decided she didn't like the sound of she new neighbor eating next to her, or she's going to roll around on the ground, or trot around the pen with he wobble backend(though it looks tons better! I'm so gland the medication is working) which just gives her a look of even more sass...she's not timid or shy, she's a fierce little thing, and I absolutely love her for that!!! Corbin's introduction wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. And I think keeping him in a separate pen for intro was a good idea too! And i know they're all BIG BIG horses, maybe it was just the angle, but Corbin looked a bit bigger than all the other boys- I was wondering who were the biggest horses and what are they standing at, out of curiosity? and who's smallest? And just a suggestion because of something that happened to another rescue I followed that wanted to create a place for follower to come a visit their animals they had a follower that was there for a day visit mat all the animals went home, everything seemed fine, a week later the rescue got a letter from the follower's lawyer stating they had a broken toe from one of the animals( a small goat) stepping on their foot.. at the time of this visit they did have any sort of release of liability form/waive so they were able to sue the rescue, I just wanted to bring it up to make sure you guys are covered with one and that anytime anyone not employed by you or a direct part of your organization come on to your property that you have them sign one, whether it's a piece of paper or on a tablet so you have paperless archiving it's really important, because as sweet as all the animals are, accidents happen. and I'd hate to see anything jeopardize what you have started or your future plans.
Also it's been great seeing to uptick in shorts & posts on FB & IG !!!!
It’s always interesting the “talking” that goes on with them
Haven't had a video update in a while, hope everything's ok with all the horses
Just uploaded a new video explaining why we have been away for a minute.
Thank you so much for your incredible work for these horses. Greetings from Germany.😊
