The song being played at 2:25 is "Ich hatt einen Kamerad." It is a ballad as old as the Fatherland, and represents a soldier's longing for those he has lost.
It dates back to the early 19th century, so (compared to 'the fatherland') it is not that old.
@@trismegistus2881 was there a point?
It’s a very beautiful song
"The old reich and it's finest leader has just enter the valhalla"
vakhala )))))))))))
You mean heaven.
@@cmk5724 Indeed. Hindenburg was protestant.
@@cmk5724 Hitler actually said Valhalla in the speech
R.I.P.
If he knew what lay ahead of his beloved Father- Land he would have cried RIP.
At least he didn’t have to see Germany fall again
At least the second time they didn't surrender they fought the global elements as much as they could for their freedom
@@sendmeyourlocation1145😂 they did, you idiot.
@@sendmeyourlocation1145I'm sorry, *who's* freedom?
But Mackensen did witnessed it, cant imagine how he felt witnessing the fall
The former Soviets deliberately blew up the Hindenburg memorial after the war.
They destroyed everything german east of the Oder.
its called Tannenberg memorial though
@Fabian Kirchgessner the germans blew the entrance. the poles dismantled in 1949
90% of the structure was dismantled by the German retreating soldiers themselves.
A great loss. They should it make that again. And slap Poland for the budget. Those poles needs to be under German order.
Jew hate against white never ends and had no limit
I'm glad he didn't see what was to befall Germany.
Anyone know the words to that beautiful song at the funeral?
The first one is "Ich hatte ein Kameraden" and the second one is the Trauermarsch from Händels "Saul" , still played in Germany. Something doesn't work here. Try this: czcams.com/video/LqoWYtLiy9E/video.html
The one at the beginning of the video is chopin Trauermarch

Paul von Hindenburg, the President of Germany, passed away on August 2, 1934. He served as the President from 1925 until his death in 1934. Following his death, Adolf Hitler combined the offices of Chancellor and President, declaring himself as both Führer und Reichskanzler, consolidating power and effectively ending the era of the Weimar Republic.
And the Poles desecrated his grave!
Those Pollacks!
In fact German troops did it. They were afraid that Red Army can spoil memory of Hindenburg, so took coffins and destroyed walls. Stones from the ruins were later used to rebuild Warsaw , tha was by such "Heroes" like Reinefahrt, well known later as burgemeister In Weterland. And another thousends of neves sued " heroes".
🖐
Wow too see Tannenburg with no bomb nor artillery damage just amazing. Too bad it becomes a ruined pile of rubble in less than 11 years...
What is the name of the song in the beginning
What is the name of the musuc in the beginming
At the very beginning it's Chopins Funeral March. It was also played at Kennedy Funeralczcams.com/video/0afAU_GvQRM/video.html
And now Herr Feldmarschall, enter Valhalla!!!
One fact does hitler ride the hindenburg?
como eu vim parar aqui
Tinha que ser brazuca ! 🤦♂️

Hitler at 1:28.
Hitler never had a funeral
He had a Viking funeral.
All that impessive denkmal has been later destroyed by Hitler troops. There is not even a stone left. We remember rather Grunwald ( or Żalgiris) not Tannenberg.
They only blew up the entrance and the crypt. Later when communists gained power in Poland it was ordered to completely demolish the memorial.
Hell no, Ostpreußen ist Deutsch!
@@kentrosaurusboi3909 Berlin was founded by Slavic People and later grabbed by Germans. Should we say that is Polish?
@@piotrzaleski522 That was the tribal era that no one cares for. The modern history of East Prussia lies firmly in German hands, despite the attempt at stealing it. Might as well go complain about the Kresy
@@kentrosaurusboi3909 The Teutonic Knights were invited by Polsh king to the areas later called Prussia. It took several hundred years until the guests were asked to leave. The mess they left behind is still being cleaned up today.
Rest in Peace! Heil!
