178000 miles on my 2008 3.5l v6 Charger. I DRIVE IT (always take the racing line) every-single-day, as my commute is my gotdang Zen moments…
Block, pistons, rockers, lifters, cams, transmission, body are all strong and show no signs of imminent failure.
Issues are as expected: bushings, struts and shocks, a/c, timing, injectors, sensors here and there, etc…
Still cheaper to fix (annually) than buying something newer, and fixing that!

Awesome ride there. I got my 2014 Challenger RT Classic in February 2019 for $24k and it had 17,000 miles on it. Has 35,000 now and general maintenance has been done when needed (oil changes, etc). Not had any problems other than me smiling ear-to-ear when driving it. Needs brakes (my fault). Had uconnect replaced by dealer under warranty, value 700. Trunk button doesn’t work, not fixing. New rack and pin/2 transaxels by dealer before buying, 1400. That sounds like a lot, but I’m into it for under 3k, and paid 12k. Can’t find them for under 20 right now. And I beat my cars hard. Already had it over 120 several times and 130 once. It came with the Alpine system which was junk so I upgraded the entire audio system and added an Northstar AGM battery. I maintain my car on a strict oil change time line. Do you have any mods at all, or is it completely stock? Dodge did a DAMN good job of tuning their cars. Only if you did crazy mods, would I suggest that you need tuning.
Tuning is a bit more difficult. Its best to find a tuning shop in your city to handle your tunes after you mod your car. If you don't want to take it to them, you can have them do email tunes, and you'd need that $500 diablo tuner to be able to import the tunes they email you. Its a bit less quick that way, but after time, it will be right. You'd have to report back to them what the car IS doing and what its NOT doing. Id suggest taking it to a tuner so they can Dyno it as they tune it! Thats the best route.

The miles are kind of high for the V6 engine, but maybe they’re highway miles. I’ve seen the v6 models last around 200k. Is that the one you really want?

If it’s the one you really want, and you can afford it, go for it. Just make sure that you keep up on the oil changes, and make sure to get it in the shop for preventative maintenance to keep the car running for the long haul. Also try to get a pre purchase inspection at a local shop not connected with the dealer/seller just to make sure it’s all good

The only people who complain about these V8s are people who beat the hell out of these cars and mod them and don’t treat the car right then jump on CZcams to complain. They tune it and change all sorts of stuff and blow out the rear diff and the trans like idiots. I have a 2014 RT only 59k on it it’s a fun car the most I’ll do is race someone on the freeway….I’m not drifting it and doing doughnuts like a fool.

Great, informative review. I was reluctant to get one of these because of the constant drivetrain shit-talk, but the HEMIs have always been known for being reliable, which is what's been irking me to pick one u.

4:12 Yes sir Dat is 2015 RT PREMIUM have more technology Than scatpack or hellcat specialy wn u want to use traction off ya just one hit traction button half sec da traction off works than in scat or hellcat thy keep finger hold on on traction 3 or 5 sec and it’s works or off on ya engine and keeps both ya fingers on start engine and traction button so ya car started working and traction off is working, taken time , bt in 2015 RT premium? One ☝️ hit 👉 traction off works . Thanks 🙏

Don't listen to the uneducated and ones that haven't owned an actual Hemi. There opion does not matter. My Hemi has 119,000 no issues. I believe in very high quality synthetic and oil changes every 3,000
