    Great video. Suggestion: Too many chunks. Please consider doing smaller number of chunks and breaking them up into parts. Part 1, Part 2, etc. It’s difficult to absorb 50 chunks at the rate of speed that you are going. Some of us are listening from our car. Just a suggestion from one of your biggest fans. Gracias.

    I'm confused. When you say the numbers fro 30 onwards, they sound like you're pronouncing them different. Like trenta y dos. It's sounds like you're saying trent I dos. Maybe it's my ears lol x

      Hola Malcy, maybe because I am from the South East and we are used to combine words when speaking? Like, the phrase Costa de Oro I would say Costadoro... Idk I am just assuming 😂 xxx

      Por fa is used in many Spanish speaking countries. Actually I haven’t come across any Spanish speaker that doesn’t use it.

    • @sj1397
      @sj1397 Před 2 lety +1

      @@michaelr0703 it’s also often used to emphasize someone asking please. Like in English you might say “please, please, pretty pleaaaase…”, in Spanish you will hear “por fa, porrrr faaaaa…” used in a very similar way. Or if you’re really asking for a favor (eg to your spouse) and you want to twist their arm it’s a cutesy kind of “¿por fa? 😘😘😘”

    • @henhaooahneh
      @henhaooahneh Před 2 lety

      Not really in Spain we say "por fa" all the time. There are some Mexican regionalism like "platillo" or that creepy "pay de manzana" more Spanglish than Spanish.

      The speed is the way it will be heard in real life; please do not change it. For those who think it is too fast..go to settings where you can change the playback speed.p

    Great lesson. Please consider slowing down a bit. Perhaps say the phrase in English, then in Spanish, slowly, then give us a few seconds to repeat it. Many of us listen to these lessons because we can't watch them. Slowing down gives us a chance to practice, which is the only way we'll really learn.
