Opie tries really hard to make his life seem more difficult than it was while ant who actually had a regular working mans life didnt complain anywhere near as much.
Fun fact: Sam Robert's first name is an acronym. "Project S.A.M" (Sarcastic Asshole Mutant) was a DARPA project. His original mission in the '50's, to be such a snarky douche with a weak/mutant frame that he would confuse and annoy the Soviet menace. The funding was dropped and he was cryofrozen. According to legend, my high school history teacher was drafted in the 5th round by the Giants back in the 1980s, and he tore his ACL, MCL, PCL, and LCL during training camp. He was a very muscular guy who constantly wore a knee brace, but he was a very good teacher.

My and my two best friends in HS nearly didn't graduate HS because of gym. They made us sign up for something senior year and they had just started offering yoga (I went to a weird HS in NYC). All the hot girls in school signed up.... and us. People made fun of us but whatever, we got to stare at the popular girls in yoga pants 3 days a week for 45 minutes.
These guys took more calls from folks from Iowa than stupid Howard Stern. Fucking love that!

Base salary for a teacher in sacramento county averages 72K. My wifes school is 90K. (thats fully accredited). Thats Pay. health care and retirement. and in some cases mileage.
If you look at Joyce Makenzie's wikipedia it actually lists Ant in it. She was pretty hot in her old-school Hollywood days.
There was actually a kid in my senior gym class in high school who failed and had to come back complete it. We did block scheduling so he had too come back from September to January. He said it was the most embarrassing thing he had to do in life and that even the teachers felt bad for him. He got all other joke classes like cooking and wood shop.

LOL @ can't remember. Just look at any roster from around the time he played and you would recognize him. AT least make it up. PRobably played in the 60s, or 70s though which a lot of coaches did, or at least made it to their backups. I think my HS coach played int eh NFL too as a bum, but never looked into it much. HE was a scary bastard.

I'm agreeing with just about everything they say about gym class and gym teachers. I HATED gym class and think the only thing more pitiful than a gym teacher is a student teacher for gym class. Every gym teacher I knew had been a star athlete in college but never good enough to make it to the pros. So they end up in this pitiful career. Before anyone says "well somebody's got to do it", I would suggest they employ retired military people and have kids do calisthenics the whole time. Kids need the exercise badly, it is a much better use of time than these halfhearted attempts at teaching them to play certain sports they will never care about after they graduate.
