What are the parameters of "mild" dry eye? When would dry eye be considered "moderate"?

What annoys me is that PRK is mentioned the first minute and after that there is only spoken about Smile and Lasik. So I still do not know how to compare Smile vs tPrk

Because during trans PRK the deep stromal nerves are spared. so logically LONGTERM there should be less effect on dry eyes, because the epithelium regenerates. Therefore I think it is not mentioned. Smile is more like a "compromise" between lasik and prk (Shorter recovery (therefore in the beginning less dry eyes smptoms), but still damage of deeper nerves). As Dr. Reinstein is sponsored by zeiss smile meditech of course he doesn`t tell you that.
