"I look to a day when people will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
- Martin Luther King Jr.
A Prytula I'm glad you Frank get its life is about love ,respect each other ,family ,and off you have money just goes and vacation packages thinking aboutpackages to RORO rose Doesnt know what RORO scheduled is.
That day will never come. It was all JUST a dream.
@@KingKong-yq7jd Oh Hes coming again in all His Magnificent Glory . A consuming fire. A light burning brighter than the sun. None will be able like Moses look upon His Face and live . Like in the book of Exodus when Yah says tells Moes to hide inside this cliff and My Glory will pass by you. Thats how Magnificent Yahs Glory is that without the Saving Grace and Blood of Yahushua none would be able to live Oh One Day when the Glory comes i hope to be with Him riding in His glorious Army. Hes coming are you ready

AMEN, beautiful song..
For what John Lewis marched and stood for!!!!!! ✊🏿✊🏿✊🏿
Best song I've heard in a long time
I agree. So much heart and meaning!
cindy Queen *It
I wonder if blacks are indeed still uneducated....
cindy Queen lol...I'm neither black nor white, and I'm very happy with the progress and opportunity white people brought to 'Murica.
cindy Queen Not all of us are evil. You and people like you do so much more harm than good. Dr. King commented often about the many white people marching with them. Marching for civil rights for black people. I'm a white man, but I actively speak out against the police violence the black community has faced. You have strayed far from King's message. You've perverted his dream into an excuse to express reverse racism. People like you are not his legacy. People that seek peace and justice are his legacy. I'd never dare tell you to get over what happened to your ancestors. I have less than no right to say that because its impossible to forget the evils they faced. But Dr. King has long been my hero, and I quote him very often. I've taken time to read his writings and listen to his speeches. "Darkness cannot drive out darkness, only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that." -Dr. Martin Luther King. Stop the hate.
this song is so good that I watch it 20
Despite all that it happening in the world, in our nation, communities and lives, one day “when the GLORY comes…it WILL be ours!” Be encouraged today! ❤
I cried.. I don't usually cry but just everything this represents being taught at a young age, my mom told me "you won't understand this but you will face different things your other friends won't, because you are a different person with a different history" I always said we were the same.. But we aren't we are stronger, braver. Than them... I did a presentation on it, and no one could tell me different or that I had "it wrong" because at 15 I have experienced it more than a child should. I'm proud to be black I'm proud of my history
Alicia Marie that was Jesus speaking to you through your mother.
Alicia Marie same here at my young ten year old age it get that life is not always perfect or the way we want it to I’m proud to be a young black girl named Crystlin i need to fight for what’s right and know what’s wrong🙏🏽
Alicia Marie Wow Alicia That is a wonderfully Remarkable way and a dignifiable way you handle that unwanted adversity at a young age and to go through it I know is a feeling that feels as if it has it's own place. You Have the Glory Tho
Lots of love from Haiti. 💖💖🇭🇹🇭🇹
@AliciaMarie Amen sister Queen. Glory is ours & continues to be eternally. Spiritually we are collectively on another level. What Black People Worldwide had & still continue to experience & STILL Rise above it all is God's Grace & Glory in action. The More they hate us, The More Our Eternal Light Shines Brighter. Even the messengers & prophets like Jesus was hated & crucified. Heavy is the suffering but ultimately Oppressors & their descendants will pay the heaviest cost. It is already written. Its already playing out. Karma is real. Dont expect those who are not Black to ever understand exactly what waking up Black to this day statistically face more danger daily actually looks & feels like. Having that "life or death talk" with their Black child. Having to deal with systems designed to exploit non whites for benefit of Whites to this very day. Still No official Reparations mentally, physically, economically, socially & financially to eliminate the inequality, discrimination & oppression. School curriculums based on upholding white supremacy are already slowly erasing the true history of slavery, minimising the true horrors of what their white ancestors did. Little Convictions of Police Brutality cases. FBI reported law enforcement was infiltrated by KKK & other White nationalist groups. However demographic trends show White births in decline, Non Whites on the rise. The anti immigrant sentiment we are experiencing worldwide is reflection of White fragility. They are afraid. Scared that Black & Brown people are increasing, rising, demanding Justice, Equality & Freedom from oppression & discrimination. Empires rise & fall. Change is INEVITABLE. The systems based on discrimination & oppression run by White folks will come to an end. The tables will turn. It is this they fear. There will be accountability in this world & the next. It is written. In the meantime Be Strong brothers & sisters. Continue to shine with the God given blessings you been given. Walk in your Light.
"Now the is now over. Victory isn't won. And we'll fight on to the finish"
Hes not wrong we need justice for our brothers and sisters ✊🏾

still chills in 2020, especially now!
This song sets a burning flame deep of me!
' Don't let what you see make you mean '. Dr. King's fight was not for black supremacy but equality. Equality for all regardless of your race, religion, colour, gender or sexual orientation. For the right to be human.
You said all!
U r very right this song was for both blacks and whites so those need to stop acting like its just for one race and its all for each and every race
PrettyLittlePsycho67 amen to that
You said it, we need to take the color out of us and treat each other like humans and God loves us all.
Can't even describe this performance. Just beautiful
"The future only belongs to those who prepared for it"
Malcolm x.
The lyrics to this song is more than just words. They are sublime . Every time I hear this song with this beautiful arrangement tears run out .
john legend voice just absolutely amazing
glory is a good influencing song and as a African American I feel that im happy that people who did this and stood up for me and others are just amazing because they took a big risk for lots of other people even myself a 10 year old
LaToya Paschel amen
This may be one of the best songs ever written. When I saw it performed live on the OSCARS, some audience members weren't the only ones moved to tears. It was and is truly AMAZING!!!
NOW that's music...moving and powerful...no cussing no degrading and that music my children can play all day...
I smile...Common and John Legend wow...what a team....great job ...*e
Truthfully we all didn't ask to be here, we were all born and suddenly here we are.I have never met a human being i have never loved. We all must get along the almighty made it plenty for all of us.
Awsome!!
Amen.
Indeed He did. Indeed He did!🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾❣️
So true i also have never met a human being i didn't love......there is so much i just don't understand
No matter how many times I hear this song, when Common says "They say, "Stay down", and we stand up," I get a chill because that is the spirit my parents instilled in me and their parents instilled in them. As Muhammad Ali said, the fight is over, not when you fall, but when you refuse to get back up.
I'm white.. I'll be honest, but I don't give one crap for what the old whites thought.. America is VERY powerful, facts be told... But the government was messed up, and still is.. Any African Americans that lived during those times, that are still here today, I agree with what they fought for... I may be white, but I agree with Martin Luther King Jr. He fought for a good cause.. And I salute what he did... The government needs to understand us whites are the same to African Americans... We all have the SAME rights, both are COLORED... And we all have souls and hearts...
Kei GLORY🙌🙌🙌
Kei I agree
you right Kei
Beautiful. Absolutely
I am white to I do not like rasidam it's stupid R.I.P King
At the point that this song plays in the music, it's chilling. It's a call to action, a very, very clear one.
Peace isn't changing the hate, racism, anger, violence, etc. Peace is calmness in yourself..when all of the above can happen around you and the waters from the lake of the soul remain still, during all the earths tremors. You can't fight for peace or debate it, you just become it. To each there own.
A VERY CLASSIC PERFORMANCE ...I CANNOT CLOSE MY EYES ANYTIME I PLAY THIS TUNE.
We must all learn to come together as one. And there are already those people who are making an effort to make a change, so lets all try together.
I get teary every time I hear this song!! So very powerful!!
what a SENSATIONAL ACT...this should be humanity's anthem...our time is almost up..NOW is the time to happily embrace one another....love is embed in us all. Lets embrace it.
all glory to God !
🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
Absolutely amazing. Wow!
Nice post. I agree.

This song makes me happy every time I hear it. It just love the rhythm and the music. 😇
One of the most amazing songs EVER WRITTEN! I pray it comes soon for all! Too many lives have had to pay such a high price, but most paid it with pride not shame! God bless everyone of them!
You all have to see rendition of this song performed by Yolanda Adams and Common. All I will say is Yolanda is one of the most gifted vocalists of all time.
My father taught us if we dont stand for something you will take anything thrown at you. That was and still is a message that resounds with me today. For people who say just wait change will come...but nothing will come without a fight. Thats why my brothers and sisters we have to keep up the fight for justice for all people.
Can't get enough of this song, so powerful, just love it!!!
The first time I heard John Legend sing I fell off my chair. I couldn't believe anyone could sing like that. Amazing.
this is the greatest song i've heard
the song blew me away
Every man, woman and child on Earth has black pupils, white bones, red blood, and yellow marrow in their bones. We are ALL one people and I pray for the day that 'everyone' embraces this with every fiber of their being.
When a song with powerful words touches you deep in your heart and soul you are blessed to finally hear the truth . I'm not talking about prickly ears I'm talking about your heart pumping in your chest and you feel it alot more when you're loved, honored , accepted and validated and finally have the TRUTH as to where we all fit in in this thing called LIFE.....
superduper scooby aaammeenn
Powerful and Classy
So true. Good description.
Perfection!!! 🙏
Tears for my blacks and Indians who lost thier lives in the massive to the white man for no reason at all 🙏 #WeWillWinTheSpituralWar
How about this.Tears for people who lost their life's to horrible people.Thats what you should be saying.
Emil Goubasarian No this song is about the evils of the white man.
cindy Queen no its not. Its the evils of men that hate. People like you will never end racism as a whole. sad.. really.
Emil Goubasarian
You shed yours for who you want and he can shed his for who he chooses.
Cor ummm, yes it is about the evils of white men...Common references Jim Crow in his lyrics..It wasn't any other race but the white race denying black people their rights.
I love this with Common and John Legend they perform this with such passion. I watch it often. It always gives
me hope. I was in my 20s when the civil rights movement was happening l watched Dr. King speech live. What times they were, sad shocking and brave people who were hosed and dogs attacking. The young people should study hard about what people and sacrifices were back then. There is so much to do still. Pray, pray, pray for wisdom , knowledge, and what your purpose is to help, and speak up when necessary, please yearn for GLORY to come for all of us.
I love the song it shows alot, all that we as black people been through. Why can't we live as one in this world and stop discriminating others because of different races, religion, etc. Let us live in peace and bring up each other and show love instead of hatred.
Every time I hear this song, it bings me to tears...for what we have lost and for what we will gain.
Still relevant in 2023. "Justice for all just ain't specific enough!" 💯💯❤🖤💚✊🏾🔥
EMOTIONAL , FANTASTIC , THE BEST SONG !!!
This is one of the most moving songs I have heard. We(African Americans ) should make it our new age National Anthem.I wish Black radio would play it daily to remind the new generation watching Selma of where we need to go.

We literally have been fighting for decades over the amount of pigment we have in our skin !
Yes, we have and how obscene that is 2 even fathom - pigment! As I'm getting 2 know more & more about my own ancestors, realize, we been fighting this for centuries. One day when the glory comes it will be ours.
