It's crazy but the guy who plays teen shang chi actually goes to my school! I've never talked to him personally but from what I've heard he's an incredibly talented guy who performs a lot in the interschool Chinese extrav competitions. Literally just found out about this a few days ago and it's so cool

That wasn’t disappointment he didn’t want to see the gift he received from his wife his son, getting hurt. I’m predicting the reason why I he didn’t train his daughter is because she looked like his wife and he wouldn’t have been able to bare seeing her getting hurt by going through the training regime.

Shang Chi training was so epic. Training and preservering through everything.
If Shang Chi doesn't train Spider-Man, then that's a huge missed opportunity.
Even Simu Li, Shang-Chi's actor, says he wants to have Shang-Chi train Spider-Man as he did in the comics. I think there's a chance for it to happen

Mad respect for these two! Rope dart is arguably the hardest weapon to master. Shang Chi used single edged style rope dart but with Xu Xialing she emplored a counterweight. I personally have tried both styles and the one with the counterweight style is on a whole other level, not to mention that it's really difficult to aim.

People will never understand how powerful is the concept of healing pain with different pain. It makes you unbreakable.
That's what the dad thought him. But being trained with love and patience and being able to use both styles could give godly skills, in theory. As the movie try to represent. But for us ordinary people, even mentally training the first style, could save us so much worries, sadness and stress.

Madarian’s overall conflict and influence with he’s son is far more bigger than others mainly because he trained him to be a killer.

Thanos forced his daughters to fight beetween them and reparated Nebula with metal. Wenwu trained his son in a hard way but when Shang-Chi returned from missions, his father was waiting for him and congratulating him like a true father would do.

his name is death dealer. he was originally an MI6 agent (i don’t remember his name) but he was also a double agent for wenwu. he deserted MI6 and started working was wenwu and was given the name death dealer. he’s a very interesting character with a pretty dark storyline. i’m kinda disappointed they just killed him off like that in movie. would’ve liked to see him in the second shang chi movie or something

Most supervillains spoil their kids with too much comfort growing up. This was a nice change to see.
Since when, supervillains usually train their kids in the harshest ways, only some movies have the kids be spoiled. But the kids of superheroes are mostly the ones who are spoiled from their parents, definitely more so than supervillains with their kids.

Rope darts are also very difficult to use and need a ton of muscle coordination to manage their trajectory at high speeds, which makes it even cooler that she can use them so well as a kid

The fact that we got a shang chi training sequence and not a black widow one is disturbing to me
not really. Black widow is just your average Mary Sue. She can do literally anything with no explanation at all and most of all do it better than anyone else because you know why. Hollywood would never think she needed something as trivial as an explanation as to why she could do things.

Also, I don't know about the mary sue thing..she visibly showed pain in the movie which kinda threw me off only cuz I expected her to be this crazy super soldier in my mind.

The thing is that except for deliberately scarring him, this was pretty much old-school training. Skill training, physical conditioning, and toughening, every day, all day.
go to China and live like a shaolin monk. or you could do something that's tested and proven and train in the arts used in MMA in your local fighting gym and keep sparring and sharpen your craft. telling you from experience, sparring is not as pretty as movies show you to be and what works is important, not the aesthetic. goodluck on your journey!

I hope people realize that even in the movie we only see his dad ways of fighting and only see smal glimpses of his mother's fighting still in the final battle which uses chi. We haven't even seen his full potential just yet combined with the 10 rings. I would put him between cap and iron man's power level

I think the rings amplifies his punches and kicks. Plus, he's a thousand year old soldier.
The dad can already do what the son can do without the rings anyways. And it helps to be virtually unstoppable when an army of assassins live in ur backyard lmao(never know when one might wanna snatch your seat)

Eu assisti esse filme do shang chi no ano passado,em casa mesmo por um aplicativo e eu simplesmente amei esse filme,o shang chi é um personagem muito legal , carismático e talentoso e a irmã dele xialing é mais ainda,a mulher aprendeu a lutar apenas vendo seu pai ensinando o shang chi a lutar e eu achei isso simplesmente perfeito porque isso mostra o quanto a xialing é talentosa,eu amo a xialing e eu também amo o shang chi e eu tô doida pra ver mais deles no ucm principalmente agora que a xialing é a nova líder da sociedade dos 10 anéis e principalmente também porque agora os 10 anéis estão sendo estudados pelo shang chi e os vingadores e eu estou doida pra ver o shang chi com os vingadores.

His dad made a huge mistake by sending him doing a contract for his first kill…he should have captured few people and bring them to the 10 rings base, tie them up in a chair, and force Shang-Chi to kill one person every day for 3 months straight, it would let him know the feeling of killing someone but also he will get use to it, like a routine and possible wouldn’t bail out and feel guilty for killing one of his moms killer and would still be in the 10 rings by his dad side
