Agreed Ron is great on TV. Needs a little wardrobe update though. Really Washington might well trade down and keep Howell. Maye has a 2.78 time to throw behind an OK O-line, Howell was 2.77 behind a terrible O-line. Howell and Maye both run 4.6/40 yd. Both weigh about the same but Howell is a couple inches shorter and thus better built physically. Wahington needs everything but receivers and running backs. Trade down and build the dynasty,

@@som3839 Yea, he is kinda right because he left a HORRIBLE O-line behind and knows Howell was running for his life with the 23rd ranked O-line, but WORST at picking up the blitz!
Teams learn quickly, and after the 3rd, 4th game, WFT was the most blitzed team in NFL!

@@escaped1534not all on the Oline. Sam held the ball longer than most QBs. This is what played into a lot of his sacks and the Oline getting as bad of a grade as they got. As the season went on Sam regressed and just looked awful at season end...

not when it comes to football, seemed to think he was smarter than everyone but he wasnt, horrible evaluation, no sense of game management or making adjustments, never took accountablity, always someone else's fault even though he was the one supposedly in charge

Marvin Harrison is still the 2nd best player in the draft. I think Chicago is making a huge mistake by drafting Williams and not keeping Fields and taking Harrison at 1.
I think so, too, as a Packers fan. I would like the Bears to continue to build around Justin Fields instead of drafting a third QB in the last 7 years.
Considering they could probably trade down to 2-3, pick up an extra pick or 2 and still get Harrison Jr. That's not a bad play at all. Unless Williams does turn out to be THAT guy. And the Bears pass on Pat Mahomes twice lol

I mean, last yr was a prime example of not knowing what he was doing when he was unaware of the possible playoff elimination until after the game against the Browns. Great guy but a terrible coach.

I always shake my head at these people talking like these young QBs will be an upgrade every year and then watching most of them be a bust. Every friggin year. So..we gonna go get a new qb? Then what about the line? You know, the thing that probably caused at least half if Howell's troubles? Dude never had much chance to throw the ball before someone was trying to tackle him. If we dont upgrade that, we will just be killing whoever the new guy is we get

Drake Maye is closer to Williams than Daniels is to Maye. And Daniels is closer to JJ than he is to Maye. It isn't even really that close. There are 2 in the top tier and Jayden isn't in it.
Drake Maye is not mobile? Being mobile is good, being a runner in the NFL is a death sentence. Drake is the answer, Jayden Daniel is RG3 version #2.

Adam Schefter makes a living at hedging his bet. Just listen to what he actually says, which is a lot of nothing and non-comittal, really. As a Commanders fan, I'm nervous about Rivera advocating for Daniels in a sense, especially after living through HIS draft choices. Daniels is my pick, but now I'm worried 😢.

The only time his offense was an actual air raid offense was with pat mahomes at texas tech. It probably just depends on what qb they get. If they somehow get Williams or maye or stick with Sam it probably will be more of a air raid but if they get Jayden Daniel’s then I can see them for sure going with a more balance offense
