Bro they really hit it out of the park with this chapter. Everything from the arena designs, to the new enemies, to especially the boss fight with V2 are all improved upon in general design and application. This chapter actually had me using all of my abilities to complete it. Fucking dope.
I really love v2,he Is strangely life like both in and out of combat acting exactly how a player would His first appearance when he formally bows to you has this feeling of "greetings! This will be a good fight,may the best robot win" And then him showing up in his second appearance in that throne for a moment makes me think he most likely had a monologue canonically before challenging you again He's also by far one of the most enjoyable boss fights both times due to his ai feeling like a much more efficient player,both times teaching you how to perfect your movements and use your weapons more effectively in order to progress
it's true will v2 miraculously survive becoming water? who are we going to steal arms from? perhaps v3, the smaller bro, which is not going to be as cool as v2 but still leave a pretty damn good impression on us? so many questions left unanswered

fun fact: if you press control and the immediately jump when you're sliding down a wall, you can do a trick called slam storage. if you see the slam particles in the air, you did it. as soon as you hit the ground, jump, this'll launch you miles into the air. (this would've saved you some time at 8:23)

Well why not make another V2? They aren't some unique robots, they are mass produced. Hell, why not make somewhere near finale fight with 2 V2's or V2 and V1 duo(maybe make them a bit weaker for sake of balance)

i have a theory the reason he gets burned on the sand is because his metal is much weaker on purpose, to soak up blood so v2 would have no problem, because thicker armor also explains why sliding down the pyramid didnt hurt them, moving too fast didnt let the heat transfer
fun fact: you can use the blue skull in the spinning light room to make the room blue! (doesn't change anything tho). Oh and also if you enjoyed ultrakill i suggest you play dusk! (both games have the same publisher btw).
Fun fact: the blue skull can actually be used in completing the secret challenge in which you do not pick up the torch whatsoever. You instead ignite the fireplaces with explosive weapons like the blue shotgun's alt-fire.
You see I started playing ultra-kill after greed was added so after struggling with v2 forever I managed to eventually get to greed, the moment I saw that red robot of agony sitting in that chair I immediately scream “FUUUUUCCCCKKKKK”

Tips for the v2 fight: - propping down a magnet, then using the sawblade launcher will create a damaging area. Anytime V2 enters this area he will take continuous damage. - if you’re having trouble hitting V2s coins directly, firing your own coin then shooting it with the alt marksman does quite a bit of damage.

I was really struggling to beat v2, so I just cheesed it by overcharging the pump shotgun and suicide bombing it over and over again by dash dodging. Im really impressed you were able to do that first try, especially on a harder difficulty.

Marksman on the normal one because faster firerate for hitting coins and split shot, alt for piercer because it does a lot of damage
