  • Changing the middle section pipe up to Catalytic converter on a 2008 (same with all up to 2014) Vauxhall (or Opel) Corsa petrol 1.2
    You don't need anything special to do this, a few spanners, some exhaust paste and a replacement exhaust, look on ebay and you'll find the right exhaust for your Corsa. Oh, and a hammer, you always need a hammer!
    This is the same on practically any car! If you have ramps it makes access much easier to get underneath, otherwise just follow what I do in this video and it should be easy!

    You could unplug o2 from connecter and remove on a bench

      Hi James, thanks for the feedback and glad you're getting the jobs done on your car! Loads more Corsa D videos on the channel so hopefully they'll help you as well as the exhaust :-)
      BTW - Don't do what I did, get a new back box too, costs more but it's worth it in the end!

    Excellent, video. Although for the pipe that is joined shown at 3:00 , how did you remove that it seemed like it was stuck and rusted quite heavily.

    Добрый день, как вы не сорвали резьбу на три шпильки, когда крутили гайки?

    How dangerous is using those propane torches on a car like that, any chance of igniting the fuel system?

    • @junkendriven
      @junkendriven  Před rokem

      pretty unlikely, fuel lines are easily seen on the underside and typically run opposite side to exhaust systems (exhausts get hot so makes sense!). As always use caution on blowtorches, etc.

    Not sure if you can do an alternator change on Corsa D? No videos on CZcams

      Did you end up doing it? I did compressor+condenser recently and pretty much in the same area, engine mount is paint to get out on corsa, just dropped it and squeezed it in..

    Hi Andy where did you order your exhaust from? Cheers

      Hi, it's from ebay - www.ebay.co.uk/itm/172832709095 this was the one I used but generally just search there and use the compatibility to check your exact make and model.
