Born in Southampton in 1980 to Hindu parents of Punjabi Indian descent, Rishi Sunak rose to become the third Tory Prime Minister since 2019 following a successful political career that began in 2015 as an MP for Richmond, Yorkshire. His tenure as Chancellor of the Exchequer coincided with his inclusion on the Sunday Times Rich List in May 2022, highlighting his influence and wealth alongside his marriage to Akshata Murty, daughter of Infosys founder Narayan Murthy. A graduate of Oxford University and Stanford, Sunak's political trajectory was marked by his early support for Brexit and rapid ascent within the Conservative Party under Boris Johnson's leadership. Despite facing scrutiny over his wife's tax affairs, Sunak's commitment to fiscal responsibility and detailed policymaking earned him the leadership position after Liz Truss's short-lived tenure. As Prime Minister, he navigated challenges including economic stability and internal party divisions, culminating in his decision to call early elections in July 2024 amid declining public approval.

Suella Braverman and Rishi Sunak must be send to Rwanda together and never allowed to be in UK again .
Bye Bye forever.
My opinion on him sending back the people to Uganda. The ones who are here he should have give them a choice....if they want to go or stay...they are already here, they came just as him and God open doors for him. Pity and Mercy. What he should have done is stop illegal from coming in as a New PM and causing change. Quite intelligent, needed Godly wisdom. There would have been compassion. 😢😢😢
Rishi did his best despite all the criticism leveled against him. Not easy to handle a country with so many problems. His predecessors couldn’t either. Let’s see what Starmer can do. Good wishes to all!
Starmer will stammer when he finds that he can’t do what is expected of him.
@@haselfrancisco5420 I like your word play on his name and the truth of politics.
Many people need time to put aside emotions and see where the country is heading. Read a lot on people and find out behaviour of many. Then you. Hope not too late for the country to realise the current winds of change . Think people
Sorry to see you go Rishi
Rishi will definitely be a Prime Minister again. Wait and watch.
