Which is better, St. Peterâs court of Raleigh park?
From what I've heard, both are very social (SPC is very social and I've been invited to a few flat parties at Raleigh before) but apparently SPC is nicer in general

You can do if you know you want to live with someone specifically (e.g. a friend coming to uni with you) but other than that not really unless you later request to move flat which is a massive hassle

yeah they're similar unless you're in phase 2, in which the rooms look different

There's two sections - Phase 1 is the original part of SPC and Phase 2 is the newer part of SPC. In my opinion Phase 1 is better as the kitchens are bigger and so are the rooms usually, although Phase 2 looks nicer

Hey boss, going to a different uni in a month, please help me out. Does everyone get their own shower, toilet and personal space? Other stuff like fridge, washing machine, TV? Cos I'm shy and I want to stay in my room most of the time
Hey mate, you get your own shower and toilet if you get an en-suite room and if you want your own kitchen then get an en-suite studio which includes the shower,toilet, fridge, microwave etc too. TV varies depending on the accommodation as some providers include one and some don't but expect to pay more rent for one that includes a TV in your room. Washing machines aren't typically in your room and are in a communal area
@@MahelKhan thanks for the reply mate, but do you not have to pay extra out of your own pocket (not included in the loan) to have your own kitchen and bathroom? I mean if this option was free, wouldn't anyone take it?
Studio rooms cost considerably more on rent per week than a standard room for example

I hear it's nice in terms of the living space but very quiet and nowhere near as social as raleigh park or spc

What is it like travelling to uni park campus
Very easy - you can take the free SPC bus, the L12 bus (also free) or walk 10 minutes to jubilee campus and take the free hopper bus
Mahel Khan is the journey long because Iâm in law building
Nah takes like 10-15 mins by bus
Mahel Khan is SPC more secluded compared to broadgate
Do you have to pay for electricity and gas
Nope all bills included
Would they tell you if it is included when you go to rent it out
Before you move in
Yeah they would, usually ask to make sure but theyâd tell you. Uni halls have bills included (this one is owned by Unite Students but the uni manages it as if its their own halls)

Nah there's a study room literally a metre away from my flat that no one uses and it has a big smart TV in it so I'll use that if needed and don't have time for PS4 tbh looool

this is St Peters Court which is around a 13 min walk away from Jubilee Campus and about 30-35 mins from University Park Campus
@@MahelKhan do you know how far st peters court is from the student union or trent building? Via walking, bus etc.

What are the chances đ it's a good block because the study room has a smart TV in it that you can use 95% of the time outside exam season and when you need to study, you're literally metres away and it saves the need of walking to campus, especially on a rainy/stormy day

Mahel Khan Appreciate the response! What made you choose this one over other self-catered halls e.g. Broadgate?
Iâm paying 5.8k for a massive ensuite whereas i believe it costs over 7k at broadgate. Itâs also the closest to the city centre and a 10 min walk from jubilee campus where the business school is
Mahel Khan Ah right, that makes sense, my course would be on the University Campus (nearest to the North Zone), so I guess Broadgate would have to be my closest bet, even though from your tour St Peters looks amazing!
There is a free Unite bus service that takes you to university park as well as the city centre or alternatively, the uni runs its own hopper bus service for free too
