I always feel like I'm only telling myself that I like doing stuff. I don't know what I actually like. I can't find much joy doing anything, but doing nothing feels wrong too. It's weird.

What helped me was to stop putting so much pressure on myself to perform or get results. Even finding things that you don’t like doing is a step forward. Keep experimenting and trying new activities.
I also found that taking short walks outside without my phone helped me when I was stuck in a rut.

I want to go into writing novels, I’ve been writing since the 5th grade. But even if I do go into it, there’s not much sustainability in the long run because it’s nearly impossible to get a really good book made that pays you for watching it being sold, and I don’t really want to work a dead-end job, even though it put all my focus on the passion and not the corporate grind.
