To support her point about cyber actors coming in all shapes and sizes, she brought on stage 11 year old cyber prodigy Ruben Paul, who demonstrated how he was able to hack a stuffed teddy bear and turn it into an eavesdropping device.

Yeah it'd be fine if this was just a video of him starting out or some shit, but the entire video is setting him up to be some kind of prodigy or god of hacking when he's just a kid with some tools.
I have been hacking android devices since I was 12 and did some hacking catch the flags on hacker one. But this kid motivated me to learn more and I love how he thanked God currently I'm 15 studying IT I hope to go on stage one day and show my hacking skills.
That sounds cool i'm 15 too and am working on hacking I definitely did not start at 12 years old on hacking but I hope I can improve along with everyone else. Also its pretty magnificent that you were hacking android devices at 12 you are already pretty awesome! :)

I think he demonstrating if it were to have a mic built in, he can exploit that to record conversations. For example, if your fitbit has voice commands he could do the same with that.
