@MagnussenDK Same as what would happen if the hulk or Superman came across a highly aggressive wasp with a healing factor. Their god-like strength may not permanently kill it. But they can sure as hell toss it to sweet home alabma. Besides as majorkill said. The SCP, would eventually lose interest once, it knows it stands no chance against the concept of violence and hate.

The Imperium would project giant images of scp-096 over enemy planets.
This would literally be a resource efficient exterminatus which i feel like the Inquisition would attempt
that's sorta like what the Foundation did in SCP-5000. It worked very well.
It’s a very effective way at exterminating large amounts of creatures, however not very fast since there’s only one shy guy and in that scenario, presumably trillions upon trillions of creatures that have just witnessed its face. Honestly, we don’t really know how it would react because it is genuinely distressed at the fact that someone witnesses its face and then it goes sicko mode but with that many creatures seeing it at the same time It’s unknown how it would react perhaps it would go into some unfathomably angry state of rage essentially annihilating entire planets I don’t know it’s never explicitly said whether or not it’s rage increases the more people that see it, but just the fact that it feels that way when that happens and that’s why it attacks if I were in it shoes and I was forced to do that same thing I’d probably be even angrier too lol

Trazyn would also be safe around shy guy, 096 doesn't go after cameras and computers which makes my think that necrons could utilize him as a living weapon of sorts.

A couple of "easy" methods to deal with it:
- Stasis fields like the one that Guilliman was in for 10k years. It can't move if there is no time.
- One of Trazyns' labyrinths should work just as well as the pocket dimension of SCP 106.
- If you find it in its docile state and can prevent anyone from looking at it: Stick it in the dark cells under the Imperial palace and the Custodians will keep it there forever with a minimum of fuss.
Method three is what the SCP foundation is already doing.
Put a bag over The Shy Guy's head and keep it inside a dark metal box with thick steel walls.

I don’t think the first 2 work in the case someone sees his face, I wouldn’t be surprised if 96 somehow broke trough it. They are anomalies for a reason, they barely follow the most basic laws of anything

The Dark Eldar are probably going to have a field day with the dude. If they figure out a way to bind it and endlessly torture it, that's the eternal battery they need to never have to venture out.
Even if they were to blind 096, it wouldn't stop it there. Visualize that if it was in another galaxy and you weren't, that thing knows EXACTLY what you look like if you so much as so manage to make out a single facial detail. The MTF has to utilize special NVGs that disorient 096's face while outlining the rest of it's body, so the Dark Eldar aren't doing jack shit. Torturing this thing doesn't work either as it's living existance is torture. 096 used to be a regular hiker on Mt. Everest before encountering SCP - 1592, who made it into the abomination it is now.
Dark Eldar in this case are just bullies overestimating their own abilities to handle a practically demi god tier creature.
* As for the eternal battery, 096 will not react to it unless its organic, or anyone utilizing it has viewed his face, thus the EB would fail in it's own right.
@@swing2006 the nvgs didn't work and 096 still killed them they only succeeded in capturing 096 because an mtf didn't see its face an managed to place a bag over its head which made it docile again
Just dropping the thing in the middle of Commorragh and watching it spazz out as it realized up is literally 100 of directions at once and exactly none of then at the same time. Would be pretty damn funny to 40k's favorite little meth heads. @@swing2006

Not really, while 096 is able to be damaged, it is incapable of feeling pain. The drukhari would only be able to get entertainment out of it. It wouldn't be able to restore them as there isn't that aspect of physical suffering.

Send him to Slannesh or Khorne. The former will be surprised when his/her face is cut to ribbons (or has an unkillable slave). The latter will have an invincible Champion.

9:31 termination test was done. The shy guy healed instantly from every single neck brake and it’s neck was broken over a 1000 times before the test was ended.
I think that was just a fan interpretation if you you're referencing the scp illustrated channel. People have been complaining about him posting fan theories as established lore for a long long time
@@Justadonkey not only is 173 in the wikidot termination attempt logs for 096 but so is another SCP that caused damage to it’s skeletal structure SCP 1566. So breaking 096’s bones is just as futile as damaging the rest of him.

Wasn’t 096 terminated? 173 snapped its neck an while 096 was down they injected into it’s bones a type of acid to melt it completely, leaving only its jaw as remains.
The fact that my favorite SCP channel is now doing 40K lore makes this even funnier.

A whole space marine chapter being taken out by SCP096, that gives me an idea, if off topic.
Imagine finding a whole space marine chapter just gone, every single one of them overnight, from scout company to chapter master to deathwatch to black shields, all the Marines inducted into that chapter gone, with minimum signs of struggle other than used bolter shells and plasma burns, but no signs of bodies or broken ceramite. I think it would be just a great piece of fluff. Especially if there was no explanation.

but how though ? 096 is strong but how strong is it varies from articles to article in my headcanon this thing is strong but to the point of a whole chapter means that a whole chapter needs to actually see it but I bet that like one hundred space marines seeing it would be hard in the first let alone a whole chapter even when a few died they will suspect something is wrong and you know this thing isn't that hard to defeat just put a bag over it head

I would love to read a Fanfiction about an Inquisitor investigating and containing SCPs in the Warhamer universe, since in general the Inquisition and the SCP Foundation are quite similar, almost unlimited power, almost unlimited resources, sadistic leaders who don't care about ethics or the methods to achieve your objectives, etc. Or also about whadowkepers, searching the entire galaxy for SCPs.
Plutonian Inquisitors would probably do that, considering they have a whole prison filled with Daemonhosts they create to trap daemons in perpetuity.

Apparently they are also in part responsible for the Exorcists, space marines of dubious geneseed that have 90something % fatalities on aspirants, because the last trial to become a full battle brother is to become a Daemonhost for 24 hours before the daemon is banished by an Inquisitorial Exorcist. As a result of this extreme trial the Exorcists are second only to the Grey Knights when it comes to fighting daemonic enemies.

One way to break his bones could be using an athame, such as the one in the end and the death part 3. It can cut through literally anything, even the fabric of reality. Using a weapon like this you could cut 096’s bones and then inject them with the acid
It wouldn't notice. The purpose of the character is "kills you if you see its face. Cannot be killed." It doesn't have a stat block. It's cosmic horror.

Even if he is unkillable and his bones are physically there I would argue that if it can cut through reality that even if it would be alive: you would be able to severe enough of it's functions to make it unable to move or at the very least permanently cripple it in some way. However again it's a paradox so who can know for sure!
I feel like you glossed over the easiest way to deal with it: warp grenades. Just throw one and watch 096 get yeeted into the Warp for the rest of its existence.

Here’s the thing 096 has shown to posses unexpected abilities
In one universe it was sent into the sun and it lived but with no way to escape its gravity when someone looked at a picture the earth’s orbit started decaying and the planet fell into the sun
So it’s safe to say if it for some reason can’t reach you it will make you come to it and there are likely other similar stories

Depends on cannon. Some versions would stomp others, and others would get stomped it really depends.
Due to some weird lore / warp stuff its likely that the universe of 40 would have the means to deal with memetic hazards since they probably deal with things like that already.
@Bud55 considering 40k isn't a subject I'm super familiar with you could be right but most people don't actually understand memetics so I'll explain it memetics don't actually change anything If I showed you a memetic item let's say a booklet that said "Humans are born with wings that let them fly." You would not actually grow wings you would however fully believe you have wings and always have the danger of this is that you would try to fly due to this and would end up game ending yourself by jumping off a roof.

He's got a point. A lot of Custodes and IP defenders would die before it would really be possible (on account of them seeing its face when they go out to fight it or on security feeds), but I think after enough time of it near incoherantly screaming about seeing its face the Custodes would cut the security feeds, kill every non Custode to have seen its face, and start trying to kill it with their eyes closed and helmets polarized to blackout. Eventually, after the last target falls, it would go docile, and could then be taken with little resistance to a nice, private cell under the palace where it won't have to worry about being seen ever again.
Vulkan would just hug and befriend it while surviving all the killing. And after that they'd be best friends. No need to kill if you can have it as a friend, is there? :D
More like send it out on a warp drive ship set on auto pilot without a geller field.

The best match up I have ever thought of between 40k and SCP is SCP-001: The Scarlet King vs Tzeentch
The scarlet king has been rewritten and wanked to being pretty much unbeatable; maybe one of the earlier versions would be a good fight, but the newer one have been buffed to being way too strong for no reason

The SCP foundation, as a general rule, does not try to eliminate anomalies because there are often unexpected and problematic consequences.
@@deshonharris4414 because there’s very few things that can do it to that scale that they have under their control. The scp foundation also has uses of 096 since it can be contained fine once traces of its image are eradicated

That's more of an outlining thing than the new standard the point Is to make a story and flex your metaphorical writing muscles and that's what happens most of the time.
096 has been around for a long ass time but generally yeah scp has been going that direction unfortunately. lack of actual creative writing just ends with a metric shitton of articles along the lines of what you said, not that there aren’t diamonds in the rough, though. there is still plenty of genuinely entertaining scps being written to this day if you are willing to sift through the landfill.

Most of those writers are children themselves. It's not really about having powerful characters, SCP has always been full of them. It's about sacrificing plot, entertaining plot and mystique for power scaling purposes. We dont need to know so much about so many SCP-s. It ruins the fun, if you know this guy and that guy can survive exactly this and that. It's especially true when you end up knowing their powers, their backstories, and having them pop up in different stories so often. SCP was meant to be, and started off as a Lovecraft style horror universe, in which there are abominations that contain mysteries and intrigue, along with terror of the unknown. Most of all, it wasn't meant to be like Marvel or DC or almost any Shounen, where people debate about power levels and how powerful every character is, because it's not an action-fantasy-battle type "series". It's like thabk god creepypastas have been left mostly untouched by this idiotic thinking. Imagine someone scaling Slenderman, Jeff the Killer, Sonic.exe or Smile. It's actually just retarded. There can still be scaling. There were discussions about scaling before it all got out of hand for SCP. You do it mostly through cosmology and indirect implications though, like Lovecraft or the old SCP used to do. You don't directly state anything and you certainly don't show any experiments that damage these creatures and show them regenerating and all this nonsense. That adds so much to the context, that it actually takes a lot away from it. You know why you don't do it? Because it shouldn't be the focus. SCP should stay horror and mystery driven, with a sense of liminality to everything. Not this "who would win in a fight" type bullshit. @dillonpeterson66

SCP discovers 40K and the warp becomes the ultimate disposal bin. The chaos gods stop caring about the material world because its more fun to play with all the new SCP toys.

Now i need to know how they deal with SCP 682. That thing fought 096 and traumatized it to the point it started trying to tear its own face off.
just like the SCP foundation does, just put it somewhere and ignore it, but they could put it on a deserted planet, it's actually pretty weak unless it's directly attacked or threatened.
A simple exterminatus would do, or a virus bomb, or vortex grenade, or a psyker using their warp powers to attack the lizard's mind would work. Or multiple eversor assassins.

I like to think the dark cells are a direct continuation of the scp foundation. The emperor discovering it and taking over, making custodians in charge.

Ah yes, back when SCPs were actually interesting "scientific" records of weird stuff going on instead of todays bloated, overambitious narratives that bore you to sleep... I liked that time.

honestly a really good video Idea for this kind of content in the future would be about alto clef. One of the toughest people in the SCP setting.
I would say Magnus could at least during certain parts of the Horus Heresy. He could unmake him on a DNA molecular level completely by tampering with his code he almost killed Vulkan this way.
Admit it we would all want to put SCP-999 on Korne's lap and see what happend.

This isn’t really even a question. Trazyn has entire battles frozen in tesseract labyrinths, so one entity wouldn’t be much of a problem. Considering how rare the SCP is to begin with, he would most definitely be interested in acquiring it.

Man, 40K and SCP is such a cool fucking crossover! I actually think it should be possible to trap 096 in the warp, no? Like, no matter how powerful they are, they still lack ability to go in and out of warp, so closing it on them there might be the way to go. 682 also feels like a Nurgle's greater daemon. Man I want some 40K x SCP fanart now

stasis fields are an option too handel that thing or not? it dont kill it but it makes it harmless and can be thrown in the warp for exemple.
