Took forever to see what he was making, but beauti ful table, it'd weigh a ton & last forever.
Be careful if thats creosote (looks like it)
My first thought as well 👍
It's really marvelous to see such craftsmanship that too with old sleepers which are lying as waste of Railways, but these sleepers are almost equivalent to steel & working on them really needs patience & skill.
🙏🏻Appreciate these artisans.

Yep, a true model of proper woodworking. Right down to no mask while painting.
Love your wooden furniture furniture. I would be happy if you could tell me which country you belong to please my friend
You should get a hand held metal detector, cause damage to the planer would be bad.
Good

Railway sleepers are full of metal shavings from the train wheels and will be blunt any tools used to cut them
A lot of people don't know this until it is too late a lot of people have are using them in there gardens and only find out after they try to cut them a lot of track crew people know but the people selling used sleepers don't want people to to know
First and foremost, wear safety shoes and gloves.
And a mask when painting
Poor pup will probably end up on that table one day.
