Panasa Biryani Recipe ( Odia ) | Raw Jackfruit Biryani Recipe : Birayni is a mixed rice dish which is made with long grain rice, whole spices , meat or egg or vegetables. Here we will learn a very delicious flavourful Vegetable version of Biryani using Raw Jackfruit ( Kathal / Panasa ) . Which takes little more time to prepare and cook . But , easy to make and very delicious , aromatic too. So, learn how to make Raw Jackfruit Biryani / Panasa Biryani / Kathal Biryani at home made by Mrunalinee . Enjoy this mouth watering biryani hot with chilled mixed Raita in your dinner of for Lunch :)
1 cup = 125gm
Serving - ( 3 persons )
Ingredients :
1. Long Grain Rice ( Biryani / Pulao Rice ) - 2 cups ( or 250gm )
2. Raw Jackfruit ( Kathal / Panasa ) - 200gm
3. Potato - 1 ( medium )
4. Thinly Sliced Onion - 2 ( medium )
5. Crushed ( ginger - 2 inch + garlic cloves - 10 ) or take ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
6. Sliced Green Chilli - 3 pcs ( or as required )
7. Chopped Coriander leaves
8. Fresh Mint leaves
9. Lemon slice or 1/2 tbsp
10. Fresh whisked Curd - 1 cup ( or 125gm ) , instead of it take Tomato - 3 ( medium )
11. Gram Flour ( Besan ) - 5 tbsp ( or as required )
12. Fried Onion - 1 ( medium )
13. Turmeric powder
14. Kashmiri Red Chilli powder
15. Coriander powder
16. Meat masala
17. Sahi Biryani Masala - 1 tbsp
18. Saffron ( Kesar ) - 1 pinch + hot milk - 4 tbsp
19. Orange red food colour ( Optional )
20. Clarified Butter ( Ghee )
21. Keora Water ( 4-5 drops )
22. Whole Spices ( star anise - 1 + cinnamon stick - 1 inch + green cardamom - 2 + black pepper corn - 1 tsp + mace - 1/2 inch + cloves - 4-5 )
23. Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
24. Salt to taste
25. Oil
