The whole point of a loosey-goosey specification, is you don't need to be too precise in purchasing and production! No high temp stab components required, no worries if the resistor values drift over time. No real need to cal test it before shipping.
I like the odd cheap meter as you can treat them with what they deserve I.E. no care or attention. I save that for my two HP bench meters :-)

Those fuses not really supposed to be surface mount. They look like LITTELFUSE NANO2 fuses which I used on the original PDVS and have a small holder (as Scott pictured). They have cheaped out by mounting the fuses directly to the Pcb. The pad size/spacing is meant for the holders by the look of it. Oh dear...........!

I didn’t do the math but it looks in specification. I think most of us are just spoiled for choice regards DVMs probably hard to actually find a really bad one. Thanks for the review regards Chris

I really must make the effort to get my channel up and running. I like the idea of reviewing test gear.

Thanks for the efforts! Not bad, but the fuses are pure agony.

Would have been pretty good for beginners if it wasn't for those fuses. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs firing.

Surface mount fuses in a DMM? Got to be the first. Epic fail.
You need to build a large HV capacitor bank to blow up shitty meters like that.

That piezo makes this the most annoying DMM ever created. And, it's way over priced for what a buyer would get. I'd say it's worth exactly nothing. It isn't made to be repaired because it isn't worth even the few cents for replacement fuses.

It might seem like it's good for the price, but you got it for free. I would be very disappointed if I'd paid $55 USD for junk like that. It really should be compared to the $10 pocket meters.

Surface-mounted fuses in inaccessible locations. Brain fart

What horrible fuses, would put me off buying the item if I wanted too 😞
