- Video created in BeamNG.drive game by using East Coast Dynamic Traffic (Gull) 0.9.3, which add BeamNG AI Traffic. You can choose scenario with 3 or 7 AI on the map (nearby you), but I noticed with 3 performance of the game is lot of better.

Dunno if it’s just me but it seems a little harder than real life. And not just their old cars but they all seem a little too hard to drive. Btw I drive irl and they played this with a wheel.
@@RaveN_EDM I agree that there seems to be very little grip, but that just makes at more fun
@RaveN._.EDM Yeah, BeamNG's setups just seem to be slightly unrealistic. Outside of normal driving, "race" setups have tires at 30 psi and 100% fuel, which significantly reduces grip. Dampers also seem to be too stiff sometimes, so it might be worthwhile changing those and seeing if you get more traction.

With traffic it reminds me of Test Drive 3. If only they added VR support. That's what's keeping me from playing it.
It has VR now, and way better force feedback and driving/tyre physics.
I only have a keyboard and a 1080p monitor but driving around racing or cruising is so fun, specially at night and sunset. Stock AI isnt half bad either, but they do crash on their own sometimes (realism lol)

Apart from the wheel being out of sync (about 0.2-0.3 sec too early) this is a fantastic video, and is really well made. I'm looking forward to seeing more of these :)
Hi William, yeah, it looks so, but I noticed the effect of delay / input lag happens when I use 900 degrees mode. It looks more realistic on 540 /670. 🤔
@@SteeringWheelGameplays The input delay can be fixed by adjusting the timing of the IRL video of the wheel in your editing software - just make it a little bit sooner to match the movements in-game :]
@@willwastaken this game always had terrible force feedback, probably because of whole complicated physics calculations and such
@@SteeringWheelGameplays you can follow this guide: wiki.beamng.com/Steering_wheel_setup. It helped me a lot with setting up my wheel and it made a huge difference compared to how I used to play (without a proper setup)

Normal roadcar handling is spot on in this game, faster cars lack downforce from the wings and splitters on them and lose grip too easily though imo
The new driving physics are amazing if you haven't tried it already!
This is probably the best the wheel and gearstick have been mapped to look like it's in the game ever ! It's so close , it's just uncanny valley, the camera is close to the hands and it makes it look like your hands are massive compared to the rest of the car. Also seems weird to see a short gearstick so high up like a fwd minivan, but not much can be done of that
But the illusion is so well !
The Gull's traffic mod has very inconsiderate drivers lol, they don't see anything othrr then directly in front of them , I love the gestures when they cause obstruction haha.
i have the same wheel, its very small compared to a real car so that makes his hands looks massive as well
