Podere la Marronaia is a small family-run farm in San Gimignano dedicated to the cultivation of grapes and olives and farmhouse flatrentals. The story begins in the year 2000 when with my husband Luigi and our young sons Pietro and Corrado, we decided to purchase the old Podere la Marronaia as a new life for our young family. After a hard restoring of the building, we started our activity converting the existing lands into the organic method ( using only natural products and exploiting the natural fertility of the soil and considering the entire ecosystem). Since 2003 Podere la Marronaia is and organic certified farm for the production of wines and e.v.o.oil. Now the whole family is involved in farm, Pietro and Corrado grew up and studied, following the dream to continue the family tradition. The farmcellar, the Vernaccia vineryard and wine tasting venue is called Sosta Alle Colonne and is located within walking distance from the town center, in the beautiful scenery with view on the towers of San Gimignano and our Vernaccia vineyard. We offer different options to introduce guests to the Tuscan farming world and local traditions. Our aim is not to offer just a wine tasting, a lunch or a visit but to introuduce our guests to a fullimmersion personalized experience and share soul and passion for our land and our products.
