Brian did feel bad for killing Rupert, he decided to make it up to Stewie by buying a teddy bear at a vintage toy shop, the teddy bear looked exactly like Rupert.
Buying a new Rupert would be very expensive probably because the bear got recalled for the eyes popping out kids choking on them and they burned most of them so Rupert would a pretty penny
People always shit on Family Guy but stuff like this is why it's a really great show. They always have moments like these that are both emotional and really funny.
I liked the old better but i do like how the show has serious and emotional moments and gets you more engaged in certain topics but it did used to be funnier
The music is on another level to most cartoon shows and the jokes are so intellectual. Most people don’t pay attention to it but every once in a while they throw in amazing jokes that actually have meaning behind them
Hey man. My hamster died a week ago today. he was called stewie and liked watching family guy. Maybe now they can watch family guy together. It’s quite comforting to think he’s up there with a friend watching family guy .
It's awesome. I'm not even a Fast and the Furious fan and I still love it. I just always remember watching the video that showed his burning car. R.I.P., Paul
Stewie is one of the most complex characters ever invented for television. A massive intellect with the instincts and weaknesses of a vulnerable lovable infant. Maybe only Brian sees him that way.
The Red Spider I know that Brian did some terrible things towards Stewie. Like the time when Brian stole Stewie’s jokes, when he destroyed Rupert, or when he scared Stewie with a Queen album he bought from Peter. In the end Brian does the right thing and he makes it up to Stewie.
Brian always has heart for everyone, he's just self-centered that's why no one likes him, he just shows compassion if he made a mistake but deep down he's a good dog
Just goes to show how much a genious Seth McFarlane is. Turned this raunchy funny adult comedy and awitched it up to heart strings without even realizing it. That’s art
I would praise his writers more, even when he was in the writing room, they had to fight him from putting in too many jokes and ruining the pacing of some of the best episodes. (Example "Brian Wallows and Peter's Swallows"
Stewie telling Brian to say something about Rupert for his funeral reminds me when Brian tell Stewie to do the same thing about his mom for her funeral
At first I was expecting some joke to be thrown in at the end of this scene that would ruin it, like in the typical Family Guy style. But I'm glad they didn't. Great, emotional scene. Loved the Paul Walker tribute.
I never cry, but this piece of art reminds me my mother’s ashes scattering and never fails to tear me up. She died at 51 after a true warrior-life and fight against cancer, and I’m absolutely proud of her. The ending scene when Rupert “comes back” also makes me weep, as I know that she, unlike Rupert, shall never come back. But she lives on as long as I live and remember her, this is our piece of eternity.
I didn’t think I could’ve teared up but (after what happens leading up to it) those last four minutes are just perfect. Buying a new Rupert, putting Stewie down for the night, Boyz ll men, Paul Walker in the sky. Actually really beautiful.

This is why I will always love family guy.. they honored the memory of Paul walker. Paul was my hero and who I looked up to. I cried when I saw this episode bc Paul was in it. Rest in peace Paul for you I'll keep living my life one quarter mile at a time
I love moments like this in the show where you get glimpses of the child in Stewie. Yeah, he's a genius, but you see the innocence there at the end with "Rupert! You've come back to me!" As well as in other tear jerker scenes in the show. Like when Brian was gonna give up his kidneys to save Peter, but the operation would kill Brian, so Stewie kidnapped him to the park because he didn't want to, and I quote "Lose anyone". They ended that with a bit of snot humor, but even so it was another great scene where you see for all his intelligence Stewie is just a kid.
