After the camera was turned off, Jake then picked up the chainsaw chainsaw and proceeded to smoke both its competitors😂
This video demonstrates the phrase "theres no replacement for displacement"
husqvarna really make a champion for a saw with that 592 great power and feel
I thought the same thing my ported 365 vs. 592 when it first arrived but now that 592 rings have seated and long bar in big wood, no comparison. Thanks, Jacob
So a 72.2cc saw against a 92.7 cc saw a better comparison would be a 660 or 661 91.6 cc
Yes a 660 would be closer in size. This wasn’t a planned test I just had both saws next to each other and made a cut with each
@@GuiltyofTreeson I see well carry on stay safe keep the chains sharp and the videos coming
Can't beat the 592! Weapon of a saw even stock.
I will eventually be getting a large saw. It's necessary to have one of each size at least, small, medium and large.
I just ordered a 592XPG. Can’t wait!
@@harryballs112 I ordered one last week aswell. so if you're still interested I can get back to you, haha.
@@BenOfficial94 Hey mate I've had mine for a few months now , it's great 😃. The only issue I have is you can't tune it once it's truly run in . But it does a good job . Thanks anyway mate
@@harryballs112 glad to hear you like it. I'm looking forward to mine arriving.
@@BenOfficial94 did you get the Oregon bar and chain ? If not I'd get that when you can .
I used to love cutting oak trees into firewood lengths with my old bored and ported Husky 2100cd with a 24" bar and full skip square chisel chain.
You would basically be walking down the trunk cutting without stopping, cutting on the up and down swing.
I used to be pretty strong back then... lol
I’d expect to see the Husky beat a saw with 1/3 more cc. Put the 661 or 881 against that Husky and they would beat it. I’d even bet the 500i ported would beat the Husky.
no sir. you could always port a husqy and get better results. Husqy all day !
i feel like so much of this has to do with how sharp each chain was at that moment.
33% more displacement and 50% more weight... It damned well better cut faster...
The 592 is a awesome saw
The husky has autotune, so it won't even run rough despite sucking up all those stihls into the air filter. Just knock them into the garbage every few days and you'll be good.
Got a rip saw 592 xp that thing revs like hell best saw ever there port work and tuned exhaust with advanced timing is a beast. It sling chips like hell.
Been running Huskies in my business for 15 years! I’ll take them any day.
just take a sec to truly appreciate these tools...that have got the job, done for us....have not let us down when we needed it and just soldiers on e.g .my ms 170 & 180 about 16yrs old young really I know but stil gets my work done every time...keep it sweet running right...look after it but most of all . thank HER !!!! BOYS !!!
nest regards a stihl man
Those saying cc difference, The 572xp still smokes the 462 . We've ran several test runs!
Husqy will ALWAYS beat a stihl. especially when you have to work on the stihl carb.
length of the blade and the sharpness of the blade makes a big difference.
The fact that you say "blade" when referring to a chainsaw tells me you shouldn't be commenting
Great video comparison. My ms880 will do that at half throttle and sounds better if my back can take it.
@@vladgachibass1096 ms881 full throttle who runs there saw a half throttle?
LMAO in that size log that 592 would probably beat that 880 and a 3120 would destroy it
The 592 makes it look effortless. I’d still take the Stihl though. Just because of the weight difference.
I would have kep a slice of that, looks like an Osprey standing on a limp hunting fish
That 592 looks and sounds so crisp. Hard to replace a 395xp but looks like they may have done it
a guy on a different crew at my company just got one. he said it's lighter, more powerful, and more comfortable... I'm super jealous
Looks like a beast but my 395 probably has more miles left on it than I do so I probably won't take the plunge.
Well normally I would say it’s not always the saw it’s more about how the chain is maintained but this is a clear clean cut comparison.
20cc difference. Is that really a competition?
20 cc är mycket på en motorsåg då effekt uttaget är så stort gentemot emot cc
There’s an eye of Horus in that tree
592 is a beast to lug around all day them 462cs with a light bar are fantastic if your a sissy like me lol
@@JamesNight-te4yg your only comment is on me on all of CZcams haha get off my jock bro
That 592xp is one nasty saw. Can't wait to get my hands on one
Husqvarna all day son!!!
Doesn't seem like a fair comparison given the displacement difference..
excellent love to see both in action
The Husky Won That !!! For Sure!!!! Husky Has that Low End Torque!!! My Favorite Saw!!!
Bigger bar more aggressive chian I'm sure ...but I like either saw as long as tbey got a sharp chain
Such beautiful wood. Would love to see you do some slab milling.
all i have to say is husqy is just a smooth saw you can use all day. stihl just can’t compare.
Stihl ❤❤❤❤
Both are great saws. And the winner is... the person using the chainsaw!
Like both saws but that 592 is a wood eating monster and it just wants more cause you can tell it wants more taken off the rakers
20 ccs makes the difference. Match the 462 agains a 372 next time. I have both.
Husqvarna é a melhor 😎👍🇧🇷
I believe it's all in the chain saw has a lot to do with it but the chain is where it's at
You were barely biting that with that husqy too no dog use. She's smooth!!
Sorry, i have to see that again because my stop watch stopped😂
Good to see you cut them into logs and not just send them through a chipper
Love my 462 but the husky is no joke either
What did they change on the Husky, in terms of ported?
Nice square grind that chain
Wow 😮
I would have either, it comes down to price
can't compare saws when 20cc difference and chain speed is the biggest factor here, same CC, same bar length and both with identical new chains would be a true comparison, clear winner here was the comment section, Husky kicked ass here but the same husky against a newer MS661 would be a true challenge
592 the best
You by far are my favorite climber ever but if you know stihl the 460 has 76 cc they 462 is 72 cc so I have 460 with big bore kit it’s 54 mm piston for a kx85 my saw is 84 cc I’d take that husky all day
I got:
*Stihl:* 17.40 seconds
*Husqvarna:* 10.85 seconds
Did you even turn the Stihl on? {just jokey}
*IN FAIRNESS:* The Stihl 462 is a *70cc class* (72.2cc) machine. The 592 is a *90cc class* (92.75cc) machine.
Yes, the Stihl was ported - but so was the Husqvarna. This matchup should've been with a Stihl *660* (91.6cc).
*DISCLAIMER:* I don't live in Siberia, but I am team Husky.
Love that Husqy scream
Man I've got husky light bar too, but I'm having buyers remorse, it's not light at all
Chainsaw performance is impressive. What is NOT impressive is a person standing on round cut wood pieces while operating those chainsaws. What, he couldn't move the out of the way so he'd have safe place to stand. Good way to have an accident. Stupid is as stupid does.
Nice saws!
great job love my Huskys
My husqvarna rancher does that well too 😊
Every thing huscabarnar makes is great anyone want to play scrabble
What do think of the cannon bar, worth the price?
Little screamers! 😄😎🤠👍🏻 Sounds good!
Husqvarna number one 👍
Husky looks better to me. But both are great saws. Would take the husky.
Are these in the same price range? I dont know how much money either one of these cost?
Top 3 chainsaws
1 Craftsman
2 Husqvarna
3 echo
288xp for life
Theres a good reason he has both.
That Husqvarna is pulling Hard Nice saw 💪
Oh come on Jacob... We all know the Chainsaw Chainsaw is the BEST chainsaw that ever chainsawed wood!
462 is my current fave. But that's cause it's the saw I use at work. My real baby is my holzfforma g660
You are a loser if you are using Chinese communist stolen patent slave labor saws period , CAN YOU SAY BETA MALE ?
Whoa I think the choice is clear
RUN IT AGAINST A 661
Looks like bird in that log design.
Nice bar!
Husqvarna is top tier
Husqy all day long…….stihl carb is about to go out trust me
Not fair comparison
Hello, compared to your opinion, which of the two has better quality in ignition, engine durability and parts?
where’s the chainsaw chainsaw 😂
Nice cut
Husky is the smoother saw. Sthil is still great lol
To me, husqvarna is better than stihl, but this is definitely unfair comparison. This husqvarna model is much stronger than this stihl model
Esse comparativo não tem muito sentido nem valor o que realmente conta é o operador e sua experiência saber afiar corretamente uma corrente é essencial
There's no replacement for displacement
Does the WCS Clutch Cover gives you some benefitts on the 462? Or is it just for the look.
Stilhy Legend😊
Or dogs and it slow up during all the bar also
Assuming they were both at operating temp, the Stihl was too lean, the Husky was perfect. Maybe the Stihl is weaker but it didn't 4-stroke at all and sounded lean in the wood.
I thought 4 stroking was undesirable? Or a natural governor when there's no load...
Am I wrong about this?
@@amosbackstrom5366 Natural governor. A 2-stroke makes peak power at stoichiometric ratio but this is like dancing on the head of a pin where the gas boundary layer insulating the piston from heat of combustion is critically thin. Detonation disrupts this boundary layer and the piston quickly overheats, clearance between it and cylinder wall decreases, oil film is wiped away and/or destroyed by heat, aluminum transfer from piston takes place and it's all downhill from there.
I'm not sure exactly how these magic self-tuning saws work but I'd anticipate some 4-stroking while "unloaded", just as a carbureted 2-stroke should do. Then as the bar and chain become loaded as it begins to eat, the 4-stroking should clean up.
So as you're sawing, lift the saw briefly, just enough to unload the bar and chain, you want to immediately hear mild 4-stroking that cleans up as you reload the bar and continue the cut,
In this video, the Stihl sounded like it was "lean-stalling" and didn't 4-stroke at all, indicative of a lean (possibly damaging) air/fuel ratio.
@@thisisyourcaptainspeaking2259 Gotcha, that's kinda what I thought but you explained that exceptionally well, thank you.
I'm going to be listening out for this now, cause I run big saws for a living and I didn't know they did this, super cool
@@amosbackstrom5366 Some saws had a rev limiter valve in the carburetor or later, a limited ignition system, complicating this old reliable tuning method. The carburetor type rev limiter enrichment valve can be disabled by removing the check ball type valve, inserting a thin aluminum disk (we made them from soda cans) and reinstalling the valve. ;)
The stihi had to cut a wilder hunk of tree then the husky, husky had a skinner piece in diameter. Just saying. Both great machines and in the end ur probably right the husky has a higher rpm and faster overall.
Husky for the win 🫡
That husky put a whooping on the stihl
Like comparing a Datsun 280Z to a Lamborghini. 😂😂😂😂
I dont know where I can find a 592xp in KY.
Saws not only same size but he wasted his cut with stihl saw by not cutting straight down like he did with second saw

Displacement , speaks for itself .
@@jtrocktree5409 Not sure how you can say that considering the 661 will out cut and 881. As well as the 395 and 592 will out cut the 3120.
I'm a Husqvarna die hard but Stihl is an awesome saw.
Rakers depth is 1mm?
Too many variables tbh love your content though run a better comparison next time, I've my faves in both Huskys & Stihls having fun is having fun regardless !
