Was there any issues with the people in front putting their items in the gap? I’ve booked 68a for leg room and easy isle access but I’m dreading potential conflict with the people in front who may view it as their space.

Hi! Thank you :) Yes we had both as cabin luggage. I'm fairly sure the rules are one carry on bag each *i think up to a small case in size, somewhere around 7kg) but we got lucky and they didn't mind that Euan had his own small backpack. We made sure there was space in our small case to squeeze his backpack into if we needed to.
Hi. At the time we went the rules were everyone needed to wear a mask the whole flight. The crew generally did a great job making sure this happened, but some people did try their luck and took advantage of the busy flight to take their masks off. I don't think the mask rule is in place anymore though.

Me and my husband are flying Emirates and we picked the same seats. Because my husband is tall and needed the extra leg room.

Hiya, He had extra leg room , how about your seat, did you had a better space than the usual economy seats
My seat was just a normal one. It worked for us because I'm only 5'4 and don't need extra leg room :)
Can i ask, does the leg room seats TV move up and down or is it fixed?
If I remember right, it moved up and down just like exit row seats
