He really had us out here believin' he had a lil bit of swag with theTimbaland & Pharrell of it all....... then next thing we know he's a man in the damn woods......of the woods? I don't know the name of the album, but there was some forestry involved......& let's not even get started on that dancin' video in the dad khakis & chunky sneakers from a couple months ago. Yes, they do ocassionally R&B tracks and feature some rappers/singers from the culture but they became huge megastars because they did Pop music and if it wasn't for this Pop music, nobody would know about them. Jon B was always R&B and his entrance was totally different so he never paved the way for most of these pop singers...

I met Jon B in 2021 while he was in a hotel lobby with his Wife and background singers waiting for their ride to a show. He was patiently waiting for an hour plus and during this time we had a great conversation and I can say that he is one of the few most genuine people I’ve met in the music industry and I’ve met many artists over the years. One thing I will share about what we spoke on was his shelved Jack Herrera album which is a modern day classic. It was amazing to hear the background story to how this record was made and why it never came out at the time it was made. Also Jon B was kind enough to sing a rendition of pretty girl to my lady via a video message for me (he is her favourite artist). Salute to Jon B!!
