  • This video demonstrates how to aggregate Dataverse records and then perform a count to extract the ID with the fewest records in a Power Automate flow that utilizes FetchXML queries.
    While it is possible to implement the same logic, or even more complex logic, within a Dynamics 365 CE Sandbox plug-in, if the logic is not complex, I would recommend implementing it in Power Automate. This is because it is much easier to integrate with other services (Outlook, SharePoint, 3rd parties with Power Automate connectors, etc.) or operations, thanks to the extensive range of actions available in Power Automate.

    To get the FetchXML, I find it easier to create a view in CRM and then export the FetchXML from there.

      That's also a very good alternative! Definitely saves you the need to know/write FetchXml. Thank you for your insight :)
