  • Eric Ku is one of the good guys. Actually, he's one of the best guys. Eric is a long-time vintage Rolex dealer of the highest order. He's the type of guy who can find you the $1,000,000 Albino 6263, the type of guy who can make a watch good with a simple blessing. Eric Ku is the type of guy who was talking about "RCO" Daytona's three years ago. Eric is the owner of VintageRolexForum, and dealer of watches at 10PastTen.com, but why he's here today in this series of videos about collectors has nothing to do with his profession, or even Rolex at all. No, Eric Ku, like Jean-Claude Biver, is a true lover of all watches, vintage and new, independent or not. Today we'll be running through some of his favorites, and show you the Submariner that started it all. This is Talking Watches with Eric Ku. For the full story, go to: www.hodinkee.co...

I came here because I know Eric Singer and as a smallish watch collector but had no idea that Laurent Ferrier was a watch maker. Laurent raced my Porsche 934 with its then owner, Swiss Privateer Claude Haldi, at Le Mans in 1976 . Enjoy your channel.

Good simple mens watches are what we need to reintroduce. Good quality. The Seiko, Citizen I mean. So many mens watches today have ridiculously complicated decorative dials and faces. Why can we just have a simple good metal watch or leather strap. Plus mens watches are becoming oversized and less comfortable to wear

Take for example his conversation on Laurent Ferrier, almost verbatim to how the snob talks about Ferrier. Same points, and same word usage. 1. Patek R&D 2. Renaissance man 3. Racing 4.Finish. Oh and coincidentally this video showcases the Galet, which is also the piece the snob seems to like.
