Absolutely love this camp ground I’d stay here with my grandparents/family. It’s such a beautiful and fun place. Late night drives on the golf carts in amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone

Went many times used to love it. No more, people driving golf carts through sites, rude people and unsupervised kids. Moved on to nicer campgrounds!

This campground seems to have everything. We will keep this in mind when we next head to the Myrtle Beach area. You are totally right about going to places like this off season. It is exciting for a day or so to visit beach resorts in the heat of the summer. But after that, the crowds and high temperatures get old to us pretty fast. Laid back off season vacations are where it is at in beach resort towns. Thanks for showing us around Ocean Lakes Family Campground!
If you and Jack go in the off season I think you two will really love it! It is such a fun place to stay at if you are visiting Myrtle Beach!

Question do people do night cruising on golf carts here?
Very much so but mostly in the summer months!
Can you fish at the fountain
You can fish through out the resort!
This campground is the absolute BEST! Thanks to the Seay Family from Boiling Springs SC I learned this in the early 1990’s. I loveeeeeee thinking of my teenage years with my Best Friend Holly Seay.

If you are ever in the area you all should plan a visit to Ocean Lakes!
Are there RV sites close to the water?
Yes!! A bunch!
There are plenty of sites that you can see the water from your rv and sleep with the windows open to hear the ocean; however, my husband & I have learned that you have to book WAY in advance to get those sites. My advice from experience, if you grab a site in the middle (between the ocean and the pool section of ocean lakes) you don’t need a golf cart. You might want a bike, depending on your physical ability to walk around. I love where we are right now. Two rv’s from the pool and rec center, short distance to the ocean and fairly close to the bath house Site HH16 😊
We just booked a cottage there for Halloween weekend. The golf cart is included with it, which is awesome! I've seen CZcams videos where Halloween is huge there. Can't wait!
The best place to get candy on Halloween in the United States is Ocean Lakes! The costumes and decorations are great! You will love it!!
Halloween is one of there biggest holidays...the campground really gets into the decorations some are really amazing...love...love...this place...going this year for one week for Halloween....Great place...
I love to see how everybody decorates their golf cart. Nice that your rental comes with a golf cart. That’s awesome. If you’re into decorating, you could hit dollar tree and decorate your rental 😊

Have you been to pirate land? We usually go there but year we are coming to ocean lakes.
We haven't been to Pirate Land but we have always heard that Pirate Land is a great place too! Hope you enjoy Ocean Lakes. It is pretty busy in the summer time but still a great place to vacation!
