who do you think was the most badass?
i do not own these parts
rights belong to their respectable owners
enjoy
To anyone that keeps saying Grievous is not Sith, YES, WE ALREADY KNOW THAT! The only reason I put him in it was ONLY because of the lightsabers. It does get annoying when the obvious is stated.
Bruh u litterly commented this Before u read my comment, Idiot
@@zurss1056 dont be rude
Amanda Johnson stfu, he is right
Rod Gill Do you know what keeps getting annoying? Your bullshit you give everyone that that says something you don’t like.
I never understood why no Jedi ever just used the Force to toss Grievous away or something. I mean, yeah, he can use lightsabers, but that's it... He has no powers whatsoever beyond what his robot body allows him to do.
That hiss sends chills down the spine.
True, but I kinda like the one at 0:06 a wee but more. Usually green blades make that sound, but whatever stll cool.
Luke's green lightsaber activation sound is my favorite, but the Sith hiss is a close second, followed by the sound made by lightsabers in the prequels, and then the original sound. Kylo Ren's lightsaber sound is my least favorite, as it seems to have been designed to be as irritating as possible. JJ Abrams tried to make the Lightsaber Claymore sound heavy and menacing, but all it does is sound loud and annoying. Kind of like Savage Opress' lightsaber, which is also annoying. Let's hope Darth Revan's saber has the classic Sith hiss in his trillogy. Oh who am I kidding. Ryan Johnson is in charge of that trillogy. He'll probably do something like make Bastilla the main character.
I like to think it sounds like burning flesh, which would be appropriate since it’s a Sith lightsaber.
0:50 is easily the most iconic one.
One of the most iconic movie shots of all time, too
Erh I'd say 0:38 is a good contestant for most iconic sith ignition at this point
I love how the sound it's already in Anakin's lightsaber when he kill the younglings
its symbolism really of his fall to the dark side, its really the red lightsaber that makes that sound because sith red crystals are synthetically made as a mockery to the jedi, because jedi have natural crystals in their lightsaber.
@@Mikemic2218 thats not true (not anymore) the crystals of the red lightsabers are corrupted by the dark side. dark side users fill the crystal with dark side energy and make them bleeding. Thats the new canon reason why all sith and dark side users have red blades. I like the new theory more, because it explain better why ALL Sith have these color.

The first count dooku ignition has lukes episode 6 lightsaber sound, best sound ever!
PBEERMFF!!!
No! Its so inconsistent this way
@@iam4026 Yeah. Lucas could've fixed these in the many Star Wars Special Edition, but i guess he didn't care.
Not really. Its different.
Perhaps it might have been intentional for artistic/lore purposes. Remember that Dooku was once a Jedi apprenticed to Yoda.
Honestly dooku's ignition at 0:13 gives me chills
Man, I love that sound.
@@HysteriaMaster78 what i love about that sound is that it was just a rarely used stock sound effect for hot stuff. i remember hearing it in the human sacrafice scene from IJ and the temple of doom
0:38 Still love that one.
10 haunting photos taken seconds before disaster
ME TOO!
Realized that when the weirder turns to the dark side so does the crystal it sorta dies. Yes the lubber cyrstals are living things
Best one by far. And it seems to be the default one for Sith now, courtesy of TCW and Rebels.
It will never get old…
Just like those younglings.
0:38 you here that bass there
Definitely the best one.
That hiss always sounded SO GOOD and scary
The Droid in the background at 0:24
Which one?
@@novemberecho3899 the two between kenobi and grievous right before grievous ignited his sabers.
Holy shit he did it again

0:07 is my favourite ignition noise
It is the Sith heavy ignition sound
Same !! The only reason I searched this up
This is better timing 0:06 for your timer it’s like making that lightsaber humming sound sooo
Mine too
Dooku first light saber ignition sounds like Luke’s green saber sound from ROTJ
Revenge of the Jedi??
This is a joke

Why can the same lightsaber have different sounds? For example, Dooku's lightsaber has one sound at 0:05, and then a completely different sound at 0:12.
0:24 best ignition in SW history
Kylo Ren with his cross guard lightsaber: Hold my beer.

I liked the part when the lightsaber went "hiss".
The Sith ignition sound is the Jedi one played backwards
Wait seriously?
Cameron180 no
@@the180crew no, but it is a fact that the sound of the lightsaber retracting IS indeed the sound played backwards
I still cant believe EA fucked up with this in battlefront 2. The sounds are messed up jedi have sith sounding lightsabers and the sith have jedi sounding sabers. The only ones that sound accurate are grevious and kylo's but the rest are messed up.
Why always the Siths are badass?

It’s treason then
The Sith always had my favorite sounds :)
You forgot Qui-Gon Jinn Vs Darth Maul (Tatooine)
Physiology Shark did on purpose since it was both and only just wanted the Sith ones.
AKCHUALLY GrIeVOus HaS jEdI SabERs
Shingo Shoji we know that but sometimes Jedi lightsabers has Sith lightsaber ignitions in terms and vise versa.

Doan Vu that made no sense
Dooku made a jedi saber sound lmao
Maul and Palpatine. Sith lightsabers sound like steam escaping a vent, or something.
Also it’s the angle they ignite it at makes a difffrent sound apart from some
I wonder... Anakins saber used to make jedi sounds, but at 0:39 it does the Sith sound. So the ignition sound changes with the user?
Marvinci the crystals are connected to the user by the force, each Jedi bonds with their kyber Crystal
Cause he is already a sith
Anakin turning bad sounds awesome
I quite love it
Grievous is still a sith and always will be even if he was a robot who didn't have the force
No he is not he is Darth Tryanus’s Apprentice aka Count Dooku’s Apprentice so like he is just a apprentice
I love dookus first lightsaber ignition sound in episode 2
Love the sound of Doku
The ignition sound changes every time it ignites
The hiss is the best
0:06 is my favorite

Is the Sith lightsaber noise due to the person weilding the lightsaber or the make of the lightsaber? I ask because we see now Dark Side Anakin using his light blue lightsaber making the Sith noise
The true warriors are Sith.
Palpatine is the best one. I actually got his lightsaber recently. 🥰🥰
0:52 is Luke not Vader.
Remember lightsaber ignitions are not always consistent in terms of sound. The only ones that are the most consistent ones are Savage Opress, Pong Krell, Ashoka Tano (Rebels), The Darksaber and Kylo Ren.
@@rodgill9376 I say it because in the movie Luke didn't have his ignited until that point, but it is possible they both ignited at the same time.

tyroil gypsum-billims oh thank you. its not really finished though because of episode 7. when the movie has a higher quality, i will reload my videos with all episode 7 lightsaber ignitions and stuff.

HISS❤❤❤❤
What about when Darth maul jumped off the speeder on tatoonine in episode 1?
0:06 0:46 0:52
These are the ones that didn’t get the memo.
Technically the Grievous sabers don't count since they were lightsabers he collected from the Jedi he killed
When he kills the youngling ;(
Why are the ignition sound effects so inconsistent?
Who knows
Because it's a function of the saber color, reverberation, saber speed relative to the air and whether you are a Sith.
Vader vs kenobi was left
palpatine at 0:40 uses the generic jedi lightsaber sound which sounds really out of place in my opinion
Totally why is this
It sounds like a shaving cream bottle
Palpatine's lightsaber against Yoda doesn't sound right. Sounds like a Jedi lightsaber but sped up.
0:52 love it
Ya forgot darths saber thingy do in a new hope
It never showed on screen
Why sith's lightsabers sounds always different from the others?
In legends they used artificially made crystals while in the Disney canon, they are made by “bleeding” the crystal by essentially channeling hate, pain, and anger into the crystal til it becomes red.
How did you miss the first one ever? The original? In A new hope?
Um… because Vader’s happened off screen and Kenobi’s is a Jedi weapon.
But I guess somehow you missed that part didn’t you?
@@rodgill9376 it was off screen? Then what the hell did I see?!

Since when is Grievous a sith?
Obi-Wan Kenobi did you not read my pinned comment before posting?
You fool. He's been trained in your Jedi arts by Count Dooku.
Pero les falto el sable de kylo ren
Shouldn't Grievous's JEDI lightsabers and Anakin's lightsaber when he is about to kill the younglings sound like Jedi lightsabers? ugh I kinda hate how inconsistent they are with those.
Lightsabers in general are very inconsistent
@@rodgill9376 True, even in Clone Wars I recall hearing Anakin or Ahsoka igniting the lightsaber with a Sith sound.
@@skar8009 the only ones that were consistent were Pong Krell, Ahsoka Tano (white ones), the darksaber and Kylo Ren.

Rod Gill You’re right. When the duel in A New Hope starts, Vader already has his lightsaber ignited, oddly enough. My mistake.
Rod Gill You tend to only notice this stuff when you’re using it to make something else, don’t you?
