  • Paul Johnston gives us a review of a 1995 model KTM 620 Duke, checking out how it performs and handles, as well as seeing how practical it is. The 620 Duke produces around 45bhp and those ponies are best enjoyed at rev-ranges above 3000.

Always wanted one, only managed to get the second series (both 620 and 640). Wonderful bikes.

This was my first big bike after 125's way back in around 2003. I only sold it because i was getting too silly on it and needed to calm down a bit..

How has your experience with the bike been? I'm looking at a 95 600 Duke and I'm just not sure because Its my first bike and I want to be able to ride it alot.

The 95 also had no electric start and list 20mil of fork travel down to 140mil. Also, it 56hp in it's standard config with a 195 main jet.

how do you NOT mention the huge gap between 1st and 2nd gear ? a major flaw in my opinion.
