Its been heavily remodeled, the original was all stuff Walt picked out from antique shops in New Orleans. Now it looks like an Ethan Allen furniture gallery, neo-traditional, generic, and boring.

Not to mention how lame it is. Goes to show the amount of money people will pay for the feeling of superiority and how little the price to get in is for the mega rich.
Hell yeah, I’ve been dying to see inside but wow what a disappointment! I heard it was 20,000 Leagues Under The Sea themed, this looks like the yacht and beach club not something in Adventureland haha
An Adventureland themed hangout would've been awesome! I'd love to chill with a glass of wine in a lounge chair surrounded by vines, ferns, Tiki masks, and light jungle SFX.
not a disappointment. when i went in for the first time, they tell a story about why the club is themed how it is and it’s very interesting

econojon there actually is a non-functioning animatronic vulture with a microphone that was intended to talk to the guests while they eat. A cast member was supposed to control it and talk for it from another room. It’s just a decoration these days

very surprised this video hasn’t gotten taken down yet. I have been inside this specific club 33 in magic kingdom 3 times. it’s phenomenal. people keep criticizing the theming saying it’s old and looks like someone’s grandmas house but if you get to go inside the club yourself they explain the story behind why it looks the way it does. i would share but i’m not sure what the restrictions are for sharing information about this club.

Lol people that say it looks like grandma's house are only acknowledging Disney's good theming. That's the intended look; It's Colonial Victorian style, since it's part of Adventureland...where the architecture in the front third is Colonial Victorian.
It's similar to people complaining that the Grand Floridian looks "old." Yea, that's the point.

Are you sure you have seen the correct club 33? There are multiple club 33 is wdw and one in Disneyland. This is the one by skipper canteen called the captains lounge. For obvious reasons.

@@pika23 there's a public pic of the constellation lounge in Epcot which is their club 33 and it's all dark wood. The one in Disneyland also has pics available and seems to have a lot of dark wood.
