  • The Goodman brothers have been loggers all their lives. Reggie and Chris bought Goodman's Logging from their parents in the 1990s. The lifelong Monticello natives say it hasn't been easy, but hard work and finding someone who believed in them helped them secure financing to grow their logging business was essential to their growth. The Arkansas Center for Forest Business, located at the UAM College of Forestry, Agriculture and Natural Resources building, spent a couple days observing Goodman's logging operation at a local worksite. The crew of six worked in harmony as a team with each person assigned to a specific duty such as cutting trees, operating the skidder, or loading trucks. ACFB Director, Dr. Matthew Pelkki says the Goodman's are good representatives of Arkansas' logging workforce. Here's a brief look at their story.

Right on! Appreciate your job, do a little more! Sadly, workers with those attributes are few and far between.

What future do you see in hardwood pulpwood? The damn beaver have made me plant some sycamore. I have 183 acres of lowland. Nice and fertile but has its challenges. Calhoun County Alabama.

If you are a unbeliever look up Eustace Conway of turtle island North Carolina he had his truck on a wood gasifyer and burnt wood as his pickup fuel but hydrogen is better but there’s one greater than that.
