In terms of tournament titles, LEE CHONG WEI won more tournaments than even Lin Dan. LCW is the most successful Super Series Winner of all time. Google his amazing feat and you will realise why Lin Dan respects him the most out of all the players in the world. Whenever he plays, not only Malaysians cheer for him but the world too. Indeed, LCW stole our hearts with his gutsy fighting spirit and down to earth humility for 19 long years. You wont find anyone tell you that LCW is arrogant or proud in real life. I have seen him personally in KL many times and he always make the effort to acknowledge his fans and shows respect to them. Thank you LCW. You are the most amazing Singles Player of all time from Malaysia!

but keep in mind. lee chong wei's performance never declined until the end of his career.only due to illness that he retire from badminton.
Lee Chong Wei has some of the most jaw dropping rallies, he won the hearts of many fans with his positivity with the example of getting back from rank 180 to top 5 which seemed impossible for him due to his eight month break. It’s has been incredible to have seen LCW during his badminton career as I idolize to become like him

Lin Dan might have won more titles than Lee Chong Wei ....but I am always favour of Lee Chong Wei
To be exact, LCW won more titles than LD. Just that LCW never won Olympic gold and World Championship. LCW is Super Series King.
Sze Hian Yap to be more exact Lin has won more titles. It’s just people don’t include team titles. It is an unfair comparison to include team titles though since China is normally much stronger as a whole.
