Calm down, peeps. James never said that he wanted to stand alone NOW. In fact, if anything, you'll notice that he never said anything about his own talents -- instead he talked about how Nadine was super talented and could, 'for sure', stand alone if the situation warranted it. The guy was actually very complimentary and was merely responding to the hypothetical question posed by the interviewer. There's no need to overreact to such a straightforward statement.
Keep being yourself, James. So long as you work hard on your craft and stay disciplined, you'll go far. Kudos.

Look how proud is James to Nadine! I believe they can stand alone because they're both talented and have lots of fans who believe in them! Like he said before they can grow individually but they will not leave their loveteam!
Actually, He's very honest. And i like it.
I think what makes them very different from other team is that they are not trying hard to make people giggle and be kilig. They act naturally and the result, an Extraordinary love of their fans and supporters.
i think what he just acknowledged is how talented nadine is and that she could stand alone if ever na paghiwalayin sila. He didnt mean anything bad about it. Kasi base naman sa mga past interviews nila, they know someday mabubuwag loveteam nila and its good that they both have talent. Cguro may na offend sa sinabi nya but when have you ever heard James sugarcoat things? he's very straightforward.

BUT remember that james went off air after his PBB stint so, in that same narrative, james MAYBE wouldn't have reached this peak in his career without nadine too, we wouldn't know either :) they were launched just at the right time with the right ka loveteams. Loveteam never stays too long but what we can do is pray to both of them that they will preserve what they have either inner feelings for each other or none....yes i agree love can wait and what's important is family first.....if james can wait for her or vice versa then i'm sure they will have better relationship....tested with time....
I think what he wants to say (in this interview) is, with or without loveteam, kaya nila mag-shine at may mararating sila because they are talented, Nadine is talented. Kasi diba some LTs shine together pero pag nabuwag na,wala nang kinang kasi wala nang maooffer as individual artists. It's really too early to say na kaya nila to stand on their own, siguro gusto nya lang ipoint out na they have more things to offer as artists bukod sa pagpapakilig sa mga tao. love you James and Nadz!

James is merely stating that with or without a love team, Nadine is very much capable to stand on her own. Nadine is truly talented and will not need a love team, or Jadine for that matter, for her to make and leave her mark. They are their own persons, each with their own styles in their craft.

I like JaDine because they are so mature. They want to succeed to help their families and that is very admirable. I like the idea that they choose to prioritize their careers first because it is setting a very good example to the youth.

i was confused why the interviewer said "marami dyang iba" when James said "lovelife can wait"? The question was why hindi ng blossom into a romantic relationship yung love team nila ni Nadine. Then James said na they both have priorities at bread winner sila kaya lovelife can wait (smiling na parang nahihiya).

First I'm a Jadine fan. I like OTWOL very much! But james how can you say that both of you can stand alone na? I've followed a lot of loveteams before but NO ONE has ever said that. +Maricor Sarabia actually James doesn't need to show his abs because he has a Perfect face (the most handsome in showbiz in my opinion) and Multi talented. He can sing, act, dance, play musical instruments and even write his own songs...with his talents alone bonus nalang yung abs and good looks plus undeniable charisma. its really nice of james to acknowledge nadine's talents, but it's sad that he is somewhat conveying to the fans that he wants to go solo. and when he was asked y they didnt develop feelings for each other, you could really feel that nadine is just a friend and nothing more.
