oh but you do? you don't play but your opinion that he is good is valid? but those who don't play and know he is overrated ...their opinion isn't? he was shit with the lakers and cost them a chance for a title last year. look at how the lakers started this season with him. look how they improved without him. did you not see the missed shots...the wild passes into the crowd...what the hell man. this crap that you don't the game if you trash him is ridiculous. plenty of former pros as well as media who follow the game for DECADES know russ is overrated and a stat padder.
@@aljabirxiju9475 bruv Letâs be real, the stint with the lakers was primarily their fault not his. Yes he played awful but what the fuck do you expect when you bring in mini LeBron to play with actual LeBron. Their playstyleâs similarity clearly made what happened to the situation inevitable, whether or not you were a critic it was impossible that you wouldnât see that. When you Look at what he was doing for teams past and now on the clippers it becomes very clear that the lakers was the problem, not the problem as in they were playing shit basketball because obviously now we see excluding him from their roster has clearly made them better but because they forced a situation that everyone saw was never gonna work then when it didnât they used him as a scapegoat. I mean when you play in the city where the media is everywhere they gonâ use everything against you.

Westbrook is an all time great. People complain when players sit. Complain the games are lax at times. Russel Westbrook literally gave 110% and did something that hasn't been done in 60 years. Heâs possibly one of the greatest athletes Iâve ever seen even by NBA standards, and heâs maniacally dedicated every second heâs on the court in a way few ever are.

@@andresvelasco8163 If you don't think Russ is one of the greatest ATHLETES by NBA standards, you have absolutely no idea about anything you're talking about, lmfao. The guy is literally a freak of nature; he's one of the most athletic NBA players of all time, possibly even the MOST athletic NBA player in history.
One of the greatest athletes ever period, but a sub-par basketball player(by nba standards). He makes up for it with this freak of nature athleticism. Ask yourself this question, if you were to emulate someone's game, who would you emulate? You can't emulate westbrook, but that's sports for ya, you wanna see the best, Whether it be the strongest, fastest, or most skilled. I just genuinely believe skill-wise, westbrook is not good. His shooting is not good, it doesnt even matter if he has nights he hits them all. And you would think he makes up for it in other areas of skill, for example people think he is a good finisher -- he's not an efficient finisher either. He just does these 200mph drives and when he makes it it looks specatacular, but if you look at the numbers it sits average. He just does more, because he runs around the court and hustles alot more, at low efficiency.

All 3 guys played for OKC. Respect.
He was about to say âNah we donât speakâ đ
Russ coming down the court with a full head of steam must be scary. A big reason why he's looked bad the last 2 years is bc he didn't fit those teams. The GM has to assemble the right pieces, and coach needs to know each player's strengths/weaknesses and give them the right roles
exactly, but he was the sole reason the Wizards even made the playoffs a few yrs ago.. & gave Philly all they could handle in the series.
Feels good to see others speaking up defending Russ.

Russ is phenomenal, he's amazing; to me his problem is that he gets too emotional and let his hater gets to him and goes into fighting mode, he just need to keep a calm mind, ignore the hater (at least during game time) and do what he does best. I really believe he's a top 5 pg of all time.
mj is like that too
i get what your saying but he literally couldnt bring his family to games because their last name being mocked was a chant at home games it obviously had an impact on his mental health and that led to worse play
You know what though I donât have a issue with russ get angry about certain things because niggas really be trying him at some point any human being will get tired so I canât judge bruh for being human if most people had to hear the crap he probably hears they would probably be pissed alot to.
