Underrated drummer from an underrated band decapitated deserves to be way bigger in metal legends!
But they won’t be. For the simple fact that that people don’t care about edgy metal bands anymore. Yeah, the music is phenomenal, but choosing a named and song titles that alienates a big chunk of listener base will get them nowhere.
@@The_Rob_D I don’t think he’s referring to commercial success via resonating with the masses, but rather being more of a household name within the metal scene (e.g. Deicide and Cannibal Corpse are well-known yet have societally unfriendly titled material).

First I"m not a metal drummer...cant blast to save my life! This kit and mix sounds great, toms and kick so nice. Plus his blasts are so strong. Great video to showcase a beautiful kit and amazing player in a genre I cant even fake!
That fill directly before the intro vocal growl @ 0:41 is fucking sick and the crash pattern during the start of each verse is dope. James is fast, powerful and so clean, with a perfect meter.
