Are below commands exactly the same? 1. get vs copyToLocal 2. put vs moveToLocal I don't think so, can see below difference on some sites but not able to understand. The get command copies HDFS-based files to the local Linux file system. The get command is similar to copyToLocal, except that copyToLocal must copy to a local Linux file system based file. Sir can you help me please. I have downloaded Hadoop for windows. I created a text file on my desktop and then used the copyfromlocal command. I gave the exact location of the text file like "C:Users/..", but it gives error saying no such file or directory.
